I had a '73 Satellite Sebring Plus with the 400 and 727 Torque Flight automatic (like this one) many years ago. Triple black; paint, vinyl top and interior. It's a fairly heavy car from the factory and it took a short bit to really build up the speed, but it would pull like a wild animal from about 15-20mph rolling start and would get to 120+ pretty darn quick! Definitely not a red light "drag racer" by any means, but heads up from a rolling 15-20 mph start, it was on! My friends and I used to joke about it; when you stomp on the gas, the speedometer went in one direction, and the fuel gauge went another.. only one ever came back. Very fond memories!!

I've never commented on your videos Nick, but this was fun, besides Barbie having a body built like a tornado shelter, shes engaged and fun and had my attention, especially loved the Dukes jump cuts and Bandolier back drop!Keep her on staff, you can ride shotgun and do the recording but I think you have the secret formula now. As far as the Plymouth it's so cool looking, but that undercoating makes me anxious that some previous owner is hiding rust.

I also have one with the 400,torqueflite. It is black in and out. Pretty peppy for a stock '73. You cannot compare these to earlier years. Low compression,smog crap,heavier. I just compare '73s with '73s.
