Omg, I had a 79 d50. Just the 4 cyl. I had bald tires on the back, and i could out handle my friends mustang on the loop around off ramps. Made him so mad. That truck also got struck by lightning. Great time of my life.

Had an '82' 4 wheel drive. Cool little truck. Glad to see engine was swapped. These were sold by Dodge but manufactured by Mitsubishi. Original Mitsubishi engines sucked. A little work would make a great daily driver.

This was a fun one, because it's possible to pull the trigger on a nice little toy like this. Nick is also a big reason for watching these videos and I have been for about 3 or 4 years? I think Trump was still President when I first came across these. You feel like you're going for the ride with Nick, vs some of the other folks on KZbin and you know EVERYTHING possible about the vehicle when the video is over. NIck's got the cammy shorts, just tshirts and probably lifts weights a bit. I'm an old man at 57, but still did Deadlifts and upper back yesterday. I'm sore and ate a gummy, but it's what happens when you get older. I always share your video man, and just getting around to commenting as of late. Just lazy and rather watch these on my big screen TV vs my computer. Keep'em coming man - I look forward to these

Wasn't the D-50 actually made by Datsun/Nissan? I knew a guy that bought a cheap Chevy Luv (made by Isuzu), ripped out the engine and transmission and replaced it with a Chevy 350 4-barrel V8 & 3 speed automatic.
