I always loved the 2 door utes back in the day whether it be a Jimmy, Blazer or Bronco. Bought a 1980 Jimmy in 1996. No heater or air conditioning and no 4 wheel drive. Air was just a fan motor out which cost me 19 bucks to fix. Four wheel drive didn't work because it was missing the front driveshaft. My father in law had an old Blazer basically junk he gave me the driveshaft off of it. Worked perfectly. Paint was perfect. Had new carpet already in it. No cracks anywhere on the plastic. Modest lift kit with brand new tires. Paid 1500 bucks for it plus the fan. Sold it for 2500 bucks. Apparently I should have held on to it. Rear window was power and it worked. Ran like a champ. According to the price of this one I could have asked 25000 today. Didn't need it as I had ordered a new truck. Wow.

Being from Ca, I would have to put stock manifolds,smog pump,catalytic converter, correct air cleaner,charcoal canister,etc etc, and then it would have to pass a smog test on the roller. I guess we should move to the great state of Tennessee.😂

I remember at Camp Pendleton Cali in 1980 we would run the hell out these Jimmy's in the desert. They ran like a tank and you could not hurt them. Lovely thing to restore and a good price too.

I'm digging that K5 GMC Jimmy project almost new small block decent interior fix those turn signals, back glass window, removable top & if was someone get rid of useless running boards or put better strong one's on.

Boy that Jimmy sounds great. I had a 85 full size Bron o . I put an 8 inch suspension lift and 38 inch tires . I went everywhere. That 5.0 was strong

I had a ‘77 GMC Jimmy with a 4 in. Lift and 35 in tires … they are easy to lift too. Those 70s models had crappy metal and rusted out though.

I wanted to take the 350 out of my '70 Monte Carlo and build a 406 for it. My friend was going to junk his GMC Jimmy so I bought the 400ci motor from him for $50. He said it had an overheating problem. Turned out the previous owner put different heads on but they didn't have water jackets in them to match the block's water jackets. No biggie as I intended on getting different heads anyway. I just needed the block.

I got a K5 Blazer from Maple Motors once. ONCE! Never again!!!! Talk about problems! People always staring like they’ve never seen one before. People tying you up talking about it when all you want to do is get in and out of the grocery store. Then the FedEx guy CONSTANTLY harassing you every couple of weeks wanting to buy it. I never want to go through all of that again.

Come on $10k for a stock probably rebuilt 350 GMC Jimmy that has a few issues, just for nostalgia? This vehicle is basically just a C10 pickup truck with a permanent cap on the back with cheap interior plasic side panals and a bench seat. Good luck selling it though, your nice to show us gear heads some mind stimulation testing these classic vehicles ✌🏽❤️ 🇺🇲

I wish you would be delivering this to my house it reminds me of my uncle black 76 blazer unfortunately my cousin blew the motor and it got junked a few years later had a lot of fun in that old blazer 4wd work great in it and helped out lot of farmers growing up and first time I got to drive it I wanted it just uncle wouldn't sale it at the time then by the time I found out he had done got junked it that 's when I found out that my cousin blew the motor
