I remember hearing the instrumental version of this song in loading screens but for some reason, they put the vocal version of this song in the game soundtrack. Don't understand why it is so hard to find. Thx for making us able to hear it even if it's not exactly the same as the vocal version (much better in instru' IMO)

Thanks for the visit and comment, nice to see older subscribers coming back. And yeah those were the years when I was also more active in the live scene and got to visit more live shows so as revisit some remixes so as older soundtracks too, quite fond memories. Ariel Popperl Hello Ariel, thanks for commenting. I personally never were messing with gameshark codes in this game because usually I didn't had much luck on other games with it, it was all a mess. My experience is different. My friend use to have a chipped PSone which had a chip that enables tons of features, basically the console acted like a development unit, you could do lots of things with it. Back then I accessed all the audio files and this song had two or three variations, all of them were with singing not counting the instrumental because the instrumentals were very short samples, it was few seconds long and they all looped etc and the sound quality were very bad. In the game I only remember the full song going only through gameplay (races) but the instrumentals were meant for loading screens. Some years later I decided to make my own version and this is how it turned out. This haves nothing to do with the originals neither was made with a help of a chipped PSone because none of us have it anymore. I have a regular PSone and an old PS1, through all these years now I work with the music only through the PC. This track is basically my remake of it. Oh and before I forget trust me nothing is wasted on a disc as you said, all the music files are used in the game, nothing is left out. My guess is you don't remember the song playing in-game or had a experience with a busted disc. Aisha said the same thing but came up a bit harshly :D She knows a lot about old games too, her brother was same as me messing around with the old games. It's fun :)

@DjGodaryD86 I always liked all ost NFS 1-5 :) But, most I like from NFS3, that "dynamic play" style. Nevere saw it in different games. From modern games, I think - Blur(remix of Crystal Method - Smile) and Shift2 - had some good remixes :)

@LegendsDragoon I know what you mean :) Btw I play it sometimes, really rarely but it happens :) I also use the music for other video games BGM, not just from this one but for other games too, such as old NFS, Driver series etc. The older racing games had a better soundtrack then the new ones, at least that's what I see, might be just my personal taste but the most of the music from a new racing games are slow and boring after a while. all in all on my list older titles rule :D

@Twinturb069 Well the truth is that the instrumental version doesn't really exists officially and in the game you can only hear a sample from the track and in looping. Lots of people requested only a instrumental version so I decided to make one, took the samples from a game for base structure and added my own materials for it. Recorded the guitar, synth, etc. in the end edited, mixed, remastered all up to sound closest as possible as the original track but yet again wanted to be a bit unique...
