The red white and blue stripes look like the livery on an old 601p i used to fly for a freight company i worked for many years ago The throttle up infact was a requirement to ensure the wastegates on the turbo chargers were working simultaneously and efficient on take off When actually flying the aircraft it is lovely to fly A real pilots aircraft Its a dog though low and slow And from experience its a handfull on one engine on take off

this plane Aerostar has some good speed on it..good performance. The scenery is really cool and the plane looks so good.. the textures are just sweet. Enjoy the weekend Shane..

Have to agree on the lack of a "dirty" look to those liveries. It has the used look inside. I personally don't like the factory fresh appearance of any A/C unless it is modeled that way both inside & out.

Nice test drive Shane. Love the tail end of that aircraft, looks very sporty. How long does it usually take you to get to know an aircraft enough for a test drive? I'm having trouble remembering engine startup procedures for the roughly 6 aircrafts I regularly fly.

Yep, it's unique. :) For GA's 5 hours or three flights or so. I make sure I read the documents on each, usually helps speed up the process. As for start up, I generally repeat until I can go from memory.

LArry i'm not sure. I haven't had any issue with lighting in my experience in the Aerostar.
