is classic insurance cheaper , ive got a 20 year old rover 25 (which i thought was tax exempt but i belive thats now 40 years )

@@NOT_SURE.. 40yrs to get historic classification for no tax,mot,ULEZ you can only get classic ins if you have another car for main use.

Sorry guys, worst car I ever owned, permanently damp, why? Always smelt musty and unhealthy. Broke down relentlessly. I have always owned classics, so used to breaking down, and can forgive cars for it, provided I understand why, but this thing was wilful, it just wouldn’t go, gipped and bucked and then stopped at every opportunity with no good reason. What I can never forgive is that this thing ended my love affair with old British cars for a decade. I just turned my back. Happily I am back now after I came across my present love, a first gen Jag XF. I drive this beauty every day and get the bad DTs if anyone tries to keep me away from it for a moment. I look out of the kitchen window and admire it all the time. Not felt like that since I had the P5B and the MGB back in the 2000’s.
