if this game main focus is cruising i think they should add pedestrians, the city feel very empty.

Probably the first footage I've seen where the handling wasn't totally borked; you seem to use smooth and precise steering inputs, which really helps show off the handling model as it's meant to be seen. I feel conflicted because some of the footage looked like cars just lurch around wildly, but now I'm wondering if those people are just using WASD inputs or have just never played a driving game before? How did the physics / handling feel to you?

ISuckAtDriving uses a keyboard with all his games so his gameplay did look janky. Still I think that is a fault with the game not him as there are a lot of driving games that are smooth even with a keyboard.

@@kekeiehwishb819qi you're probably right, I just feel like I'm getting two very different representations of the handling / physics just from watching different KZbinrs' gameplay videos, which leaves me feeling conflicted on how the final product is gonna play out.

@@tomoakley760 I tried it both with a wheel and controller. In both of these cases, the default dead zone settings are set to 10%. So you don't steer at all, or your car takes a hard turn (thats why you see jankiness in some gameplays) There isnt an exact setting to fix it, you have to reasign your left and right inputs. And then it sets it to 1%.

Do the odometers in the car actually work and keep track of vehicle milage ? Unlike Forza Horizon which is an arbitrary number that changes everytime you leave the garage ?

This is a demo version and unfortunately it's unoptimized especially when you entered the city + high speed fps drop from 60 to 35fps 30fps, we hope in the final build the game run smoothly.

@@imembridibuddha yea, seven months ago the game was in alpha, pre-demo stage. Obviously it was gonna just as bad. Just hold ur mouth till the game releases and instead of shting on it, provide decent feedback for the devs to work on. Optimization is their main goal atm

this game so far is amazing i would love to see damage added to the car and engine components as well as more traffic and more people isnt this in japan ?

Nope, it's Hong Kong from the signs, taxis and geographical location. I've played enough Sleeping Dogs to recognize from the red taxis alone, and info have confirmed it's Hong Kong Island as well. Maybe they'll make one in Japan if there's demands.

@@RamXExtra lol oh my I'm well aware of the damage you can do I said I would love to see damage added do you understand what I mean not just cosmetic damage and how do all the parts just stay on when the car looks like a crumpled can lol as well as engine damage temp gauges this is a MMO why not go all the way with it and who knows maybe they are on it already

I was really hoping for a realistic auto gearbox... Looks like its going to be another typical shift at the same RPM regardless of the speed / throttle input.
