I heard that discovering most of the road actually gives you like 30- 40 levels. But sadly the game doesnt make you go explore, other than some cash prices, wrecks and Meetup spots there isnt much. There arent any hidden races, hidden missions, more vendors for clothes/ beauty and tuning...

@@Rockport1911 every 1% of road you discover gives you x100 xp. So you discover 20%, you get 2000xp. 51% is 5100 xp. It does help get the levels up quickly whilst also driving round collecting the xp and coin icons located eound the map, doing speed traps etc. managed to get to lvl 35 and 4.5m solar coins so far and about 60% of the map unlocked

Bro it gave me 42 levels discovered them all cus everytime I tried to race I kept getting an error 😂 only downside I have now it keeps locking the meeting points so I cant teleport anywhere

@@lowk3ychris484Yeah PS5 and Xbox, You can discover certain meeting spots, gas stations, and dealerships and upon restarting your game they will be greyed out and you will have to rediscover them. The Ferrari/Lambo dealer as well as a good portion of meet spots/gas stations in the southern part of the map notoriously do this every time

one of the plus points of that game is that it is quite fast. It feels like you are driving fast and I live in Belgium when I ordered the gold edition before the official one came out I had a lot of problems and now I have been playing for three days without server problems

Yeah but why you comparing it to forza horizon in the first place tdu wasnt like horizon now every one wants to make horizon clones ,creativity has gone.. Tdu had some interesting ideas, took you ages to make money to buy cars so when you did they meant more , forza they fall out of the sky for letting off a fart. When the police were chasing you in tdu were thinking give up or take the risk running away.yes it may be a okay game but should have been called it something else the solar crown is made from fools gold I'm afraid. @@ChayMiddleton Because of the free roaming! I play a bunch of iRacing, ACC and GT7 with pedals and a wheel, but every now and then I just want to chill out an drive on the open road. Sure, there's mods for AC and such, but I'd love for Forza Horizon or The Crew to just have good FFB. GT7 has amazing FFB in my opinon, it's very predictable and cars feel mostly like I think they should. That's why I'm excited for this game, although it clearly isn't perfect.

The AI is supposed to be dynamic to the point that it scales based on how well you do. It's kind of stupid, if you ask me, because going from expert to experience the AI difficulty goes off a cliff at that point. It's a tad insulting.

I am very unsure on this game, I got the gold played around 3 hours so far but the conection issues at early launch kept me from dumping more hours, well that and Space Marine 2 :-) . I loved TDU 2 and want to love this game. Hoping it smooths out because I want this to succeed if this and Forza Horizon have competition they will both get better!

The cars are In Hong Kong money but if you transfer for example the koenigsegg to American money it’s around 1.2 million but the races are around 3k. When it’s put like that the races really dont pay enough to justify having the cars that expensive

I am rather let down by them being all the same no matter what brand you want.. the styles, they're super sized with hardly any cars to fill them, and the original game had dealerships that actually resemble the real life showrooms.. these just feel like digital warehouses with "ferrari" written above them..?? The grind is too much. The task help and finding roads really helps but I was saving up for the Chiron sport and I had only bought the mustang at the beginning and an Aventador and after that it took me 2 days of straight grinding to get to level 50 and to get the Chiron. Absolutely insane. Really don’t like having to treat the game like it’s a job

Test Drive Unlimited was great, hands down for that time. But i dont recall many asking/hoping for or wondering when the next would come. What 16+ years later this comes out of nowhere. Gaming will flop always with only live connections or networks
