Here my take: Brilliant foundation for a game - physics and map are definitely a huge W. Now with that said, they should have delayed it to add more to do. It’s fun but once you hit 35-40… my god is it just boring. Driving is so much fun, but it’s not fun to just cruise around for 40 hours. Bring back courier missions or even a Uber like thing. Give me more to do in freeroam. Give me more to spend my money on (houses and casino- yeah I know it’s coming but it should be in the game from the start) I genuinely hope they didn’t botch things to the point where people have completely lost interest by the time they start adding content because in my opinion, that’s really all that’s missing is diversity in events and more things to do.

I took a break from TDU Solar Crown(until such time as the bugs are fixed)....but apart from that, I'm not really in a rush(as I do not want to exhaust all of the activities before the next DLC drops.) In the interim, I am replaying The Crew 2 and I must say, I am starting from scratch and it's just as much fun as the first run-through and they've even added more to this game! The amount of activities in this game is absolutely insane and will keep me busy for several months to come. As for TDU....give it time, as I'm sure Nacon will have much more to add to Solar Crown, as time goes on.

Before you start a race it asks you if you want to reduce your cars PR so it’s eligible. You don’t have to buy a car and only upgrade it to a race specific PR

you can upgrade your cars passed the max limit and when entering the race it will just ask you to configure it down to meet requirements. so feel free to max out your car

Mate, I have done very few races and am already a higher level than you.. if you explore the map the XP goes up.. it’s something like 0-10% map get 1000XP but at 50% you get 5000XP etc.. That Grand Tour race you can use your Merc but there is an auto down grade option that then restores after a race rather than buying a car however the Porsche Taycan is the best choose due to AWD.. thought it might help you and your viewers

You can't... at stock the PR is still above 550, if you notice he wasn't given the option to auto adjust because of this, but in other cases you're absolutely right. Stock SLS PR is 616.

@@MetalGamer666 I just checked. Off-road tyres aren't an option so there are no tyres lower PR than the stock all road ones. All road suspension shaves off 20 PR, so it is impossible to lower the PR low enough to get to 550, as far as I can tell.

BTW. the way to win over Expert AI is to use offroad tires and suspension to lower the PR so your horsepower is much higher than the AI. The offroad tires are good enough on any surface, and the suspension matters very little.

I found the best way to level up at the beginning is just by exploring the map. For every 1% of the map explored you get XP & for every 5% you get more XP per 1%. Kind of confusing but basically I think: 1-10% - 1000XP 11-19% - 1500XP 20 - 24% - 2000XP 25 - 29% - 2500XP 30 - 34% - 3000XP 35 - 39% - 3500XP 40 - 44% - 4000XP 45 - 49% - 4500XP 50 - 54% - 5000XP 55 - 59% - 5500XP 60 - 64% - 6000XP 65 - 69% - 6500XP 70 - 74% - 7000XP 75 - 79% - 7500XP 80 - 84% - 8000XP 85 - 89% - 8500XP 90 - 94% - 9000XP 95 - 99% - 9500XP 100% - 10000XP. this is PER 1% so from 90 - 94% you would get 36000XP. I'm stuck at 99% map explored however as there is probably 1 hidden road I cannot find no matter how hard I try lol

The grand tourer class seems to have two "sub-classes" with classic GT cars (up to 550 pi) and modern GT cars (600+ pi). Also, Taycan is the Grand Tourer meta

getting an all road suspension will lower your rating significantly, so amg might be eligible, if you unlocked it that is, makes zero to no different to the handling model, it's wank anyway

The Taycan actually somehow is able to convert to 550 though and still cook. There's reasons why it's at the top of the leaderboards. Its Launch is ALWAYS above 9.3 and it's speed stays around 8.1-10.0. I hate it but it's legitimately the only choice as of right now to beat this crazy af AI.
