Test driving the new 2021 Polestar2 EV from DC to Philly!

Welcome back to our channel! Or if you’re new here--hello, hi, hei, moi--we’re Preston and Krista! In this video, we test drove the all new Swedish luxury electric vehicle -- the 2021 Polestar 2. We used Turo, the car sharing marketplace, to test drive 1 of only 3 Polestar 2’s available on the platform. And to get a feel for how it’d drive on “long distances” and what charging at an EV station would feel like we did a little road trip day trip adventure up to Philadelphia. Great video. one thing, all EVs charge MUCH MUCH slower once you get past 80% state of charge. Generally would avoid charging above 80% on a fast charger unless you must to get to your next charger. It will be faster to do two shorter charges than try to charge above 80% in most cases

The base price of the 2021 is about $60,000 (they have cheaper models coming out in November/2022) but right now the leases are really cheap. I was able to lease one for about $100 less than a Tesla 3 Long Range and about $230 less than a Tesla 3 Performance.
