ive long been confused by the matte layer...why doesnt the molten slag provide the heat to decompose the sulfides? because the borax prevents oxidation?

Heating is just a necessary factor but it's not sufficient. Oxygen is also needed, when you smelt sulfides you don't have enough surface area to oxidize it, that is why roasting is necessary prior to smelting. Or adding nitrates to provide oxygen internally .

سلام دوست عزیز.خسته نباشی.یه سوال خیلی مهم دارم اگر امکان داره بهم بگو از کجا اون گولد پن یا به فارسی لاوک رو خریدی؟؟ بخدا اینقده دنبال گولد پن گشتم خسته شدم. درضمن اگر احیانا دوست داشتی تا مقداری از سنگ هایی که روشون کار میکنم واست بفرستم. من سنندج زندگی میکنم و بعضی جاهای کوه های اطرف شهر سنگ.های خوبی داره سولفاید ،اکساید،کلسیت.البته خودم بیشتر کوارتز رو ترجیح میدم

@@PickyPlans ppm is parts p million and not a weight in grams or kg. Y have to calculate the weight of gold chloride or whatever you have in your preciptste .
