I had a query @TheOrganicChemistryTutor how did you determine that rejection region will be to the right of critical value in this example.In other words,how did you determine which side of the graph is the fail to reject region since question doesn't specify it.
@evenastyles30082 жыл бұрын
This is great!
@dailyworddigest42292 жыл бұрын
HI, you are an awesome teacher. Please how did you arrive at 0.95 FOR THE DO NOT REJECT REGION ON THE GRAPH. I hope to hear from you soon. thanks
@choolwesimafuta93612 жыл бұрын
That's a probability distribution graph... The area bounded by it is 1 so because alpha is the area of the reject region which is 0.05. It follows that A(rr)+A(nrr)=1, A(nrr)=1-A(rr)=1-0.05=0.95

I am a medical student and we started to take the statistics in the third year , but our doctors are so damn bad in it , they don’t explain anything and we left confused all the time , I will have my final exam tomorrow , the idea is frightening. But I am one of the best students in this subject in the stage lol but that fair can’t get away unfortunately....

I am confused on Null and alternative hypothesis? Will anyone help me to shutdown this confusion?

ANOVA... Sir ,I bet you'll explain it better
@bloodmachine37878 ай бұрын
Can anyone explain why it was a right tail test?
@danishcode3 жыл бұрын
How can we came to know it will be right tail test or left tail test??
@dianabarbara29483 жыл бұрын
Always right tail here, the idea is that the bigger the chi square the further away you are from the expected values if the null hypothesis is true! So the bigger the chi square, the more certain you are that the variables are not independent
