Shadow Systems is producing some great stuff! Their biggest drawback has to be that trigger, though! I also threw in a Johnny Glocks Vex and it is a whole new gun!

Timney Alpha is better IMO, but yes, SS requires a trigger swap.. just like Glocks.

Been on the fence on buying a MR920P as a carry gun as I love the idea of comps. The trigger is what was holding me back from buying one. (I’m a self proclaimed trigger snob like you). Now that shouldn’t be an issue anymore.

I’ve got the mr920p and love it. Shoots really flat running the vortex 3 moa 🔴. Probably wouldn’t change the trigger especially if it’s a carry gun. If it’s used in a self defense situation they may not stand behind replacement because of the trigger change. Food for thought ! Someone tell me if I’m wrong!

Great video I have the Xr920. Was thinking about getting the P but I kinda feel like I can probably get good results with the ramjet. I did think about getting a logo done mine with the laser considering you mentioned it. I really love it, it’s my EDC. I even considered getting the G19x MOS and then said to my self what the point lol. I did decide on going with the 2.0 and just seen you did a video so I’m heading there now to watch 🫡

@@robertlayne484 - I went with the Johnny Glock Evolution X Combat with the metal VEX shoe. Kept the striker spring stock. This is the crispest breaking Glock trigger I’ve ever tried. I’ve ordered more JC triggers for my other SS pistols.

Aslong as it’s a similar trigger to this gun then yes. The goal is to offer this particular model with light dot trigger Glock mag with tti baseplate nd hopefully holster

I dropped a Glock performance trigger group in my mr920p and it’s a new gun . Zero sight disturbance zero . So my point is Shadow system trigger is improvable why aren’t they doing it ?

Man those triggers that have zero pre travel might be good for guys that just stand and shoot but not under stress. I’ve tried triggers like that and under stress with the heart rate up shots can go off when not wanted. Also hard to be accurate for me. Great job though🤘

in a glock style striker fired gun, it just doesnt seem safe(having said that ive not had my hands inside one of these new triggers to see how it ticks). to get that little travel you have the striker fully under tension ready to fire, and the firing pin safety has to be inoperable. that would be like having a really nice trigger on a 1911, and the only operable safety on the gun is the grip safety. idk, id have to see it to be convinced otherwise.

Shadow Systems = get a Timney Alpha trigger. Pretty sure it's a Gen 4 although I'd double check. My gen 5 is flawless. It's their one flaw in "being a glock clone company."

So I did a Jonny Glock trigger kit and some of my own tunes then a customers timney tuned by me and honestly I think either one is a good choice at this point. Both way better then oem lol 😂
