Apart from the scoreline the biggest positive I take from the game is Szobo’s form. He’s struggled a bit with injuries and just getting used to the Premier League but today he showed what a great player he is. In a midfield already packed with talent he really can make Liverpool unstoppable.

OK, I seriously cannot understand how none of the pundits see the difference from last year to this year... Last year the midfield was almost entirely changed, the old guard, including the captain and vice captain were gone, and apart from MacAllister the other three guys that came in were all from the Bundesliga. They needed to adapt, the get to know each other, gel in together as a unit. Last year they did well but also expected that there were going to be ups and downs because of the aforementioned things, but this season it is the same unit but gelled in, know each others patterns of play better, adapted to the physicality of the league and you see the fruits of it now. It is not rocket science.

We also lost in April, because of injury, the following players: Alisson Salah Trent Endo Thiago Matip Dom Jota Bajcetic Ryan Jones Nunez So we need to factor in losing 12 first teamers. We also had the four worst refereeing decisions that season. Jackson, Diaz, Doku and Odegaard. We still won a cup and got third. That’s the difference, we lost 12 players at the same time and went out of two cups and lost three league games. That’s it.

Just want to say... Of the track a bit but.... Can guarantee due to the results today chelsea drawing and Liverpool win.... All the people that for some weird reason kept saying chelsea in a title race, or more to the point desperate for Chelsea fans to say they are in a title race.... Are now going to come out and say.... Noo way are Chelsea in a title race. U chelsea fans are mad.... But this is why all chelsea fans and club were saying we ain't in a title race... Honestly I don't think there are many cfc fans rite now that are unhappy with the point today...
