The KTM 390 Adventure and BMW G310GS are the new motorcycles in the beginner adventure bike segment and it is feature loaded. Traction control, switchable ABS, cornering ABS, plenty of power, but does that really add value in the real world?
This is my final series of buying a new motorcycle, I have tested the Yezdi Adventure, Royal Enfield Himalayan, KTM Adventure 390 and BMW G310GS. Let's find out if this can be your next motorcycle?

I own 390 adventure. You will be shocked to hear but i have seen so many people preferred 390 adventure over tiger & versys 650. After 1000kms 1st service stock bike can go 175 to 180kmph top speed What makes this bike so special is it's power to weight ratio. Stock bike isn't the perfect bike you need to slap on some mods worth 1lakh gradually. I suggest you to wait for himalayan 450X Or go for adventure 390. Bmw 310gs comes at good price but if you hear service cost , spares & maintenance you will faint it is equal to duke 790cc bike maintenance cost. 390 adventure maintenance, spares & service are shit cheap. You can feel it's sluggish or stalls at low rpm. 14 tooth sprocket which costs 250 rs is must have mod for adventure 390. Only trade of is top speed comes to 165 kmph but you can ride high gears at low speeds & low end acceleration is improved a lot. It should have come stock with 14 tooth sprocket. Alloys are stronger than you think. I did crazy off road & rims didn't bent yet. You will be amazed to hear that this is the only bike under 10lakhs to have Cornering abs & only bike under 7lakhs to have MTC. This bike is rocket on roads & very capable off road also depends entirely on your skills. If you want hardcore off roading definitely mods are needed no question about it. My bike goes 185kmph . Bro I am planning to buy 390 adv , could you please let me know how is the performance for daily city traffic? will it cause any issue? or I should go for dominor 400? I will go for a trip hardly once in a month and most of journey will be in city traffic only?

Bro, the 390 ADV is amazing. However if you plan to ride it mostly in the city traffic, then dominor is a better option cz you will feel frustrated in the city. The 390 adv has the potential to fly.
