I'm happy to see how your rigs flying in the air with that body and set-up. I have same body and lipo tray. But running a set of badland MX43 tires and rims with a max5 - 980kv hobbstary 56113 powering it. I also use 2 8s- 5000mah 100c lipos in parallel for long run time. Also a 16t pin. And I like it so far. Just haven't got it out in the open to hit some good jumps. I have a 16s 400amp flier esc and a tp 650kv motor that I got to make it stupid fast for next summer.

Thanks brother! Bumped it up to an 18t for next run and ordered a nice fan to cool it down a bit. Had a couple small issues on the first run that I believe I got worked out.

Great test run was this on 12s or 8? Reason asking is I’m building one now that I blew the motor in. My other is still nitro. I’m setting it up to run stock spur and 18 pinion for testing

XLX2 with an 800kv so 8S. More than enough power with the right gearing.

@@D.J_RCawesome man thanks for the tip. I’ve got the max5 g2 800kv system. Just got done switching all the center & drive diff oil. Replaced all the diff cups also while I was in there with aluminum.
