Yes, it is expensive, especially the SuperTech with the gimmicks nobody needs. I bought the SuperSport this year and I had a really great time with this extremely stilish scooter... Go for it!

Way too much technology and way too much maintenance. My 2006 GT200 has 95% of the performance from a simple carbureted engine engine without all that garbage on the dash. 12K valve adjustment and belt replacement intervals.

For all the hype this is a lame ass offering in electronics from Vespa. Not worth the extra money at all.
