I’ve worked security for Testament in the 90’s , at venues the played of course. Newport in Columbus Ohio shout out! Seen Testament 7 times and talked with chuck a few times briefly. Nice guy. Whole band are good guys.

Right on Chuck! I got to meet you back in 96?? in Massillon Ohio at The Machine... Shit hole venue, that no longer exists. My band WARCRY, had the opportunity to open up for you guys! Afterward, You were climbing onto your bus and you turned around and shook my hand and thanked me for being there that night! It was such an honor! And you're such a tall man... LOL. I am only 5 foot 6. I'll never forget it! Thank you!

Love testament. Fan of theirs and saw them when they came to Dallas back in 88. Got a special autograph signing too but since lost the poster. Metal bands are not rolling in the Millions of bucks people think they are. When you watch an episodes of metal bands, Those buses are rented and it cuts into their small budgets.

Slayer a bunch of times and they turn us down every time unfortunately. Metallica hasn't done a proper tour in a while, so we haven't had a chance to try for them yet, but it's unlikely they'll say yes.

Depends on the size of the band. Most bands in the metal and rock community sleep on their buses. Big pop stars and bands like Metallica likely don't.
