But that album has some great tracks on it as well like Return To Serenity for instance. Which I couldn't stand when I first heard it at 18. lol

I love all of Testament's slow paced songs, but The Legacy has always been my favorite. Testament is so amazing at doing both aggressive fast paced songs, and slow paced songs big time. Chuck Billy is PHENOMENAL at singing both styles big time. This is one reason why Testament is one of my all time favorite bands ever. They are just so extremely talented, and in my opinion they are underated. In my eyes they should be headlining arenas all around the world.

I've always loved the mellow metal songs like this, Trail of Tears, and songs by other metal bands, songs like Quicksand Jesus by Skid Row, Damnation by Fates Warning, Strange World by Iron Maiden, Remember Tomorrow by Iron Maiden, and Dreamer Deceiver by Judas Priest to name just a few.

Isn't this just brilliant?! I love the faster, heavier, more aggressive stuff but sometimes you need something melodic but powerful and this fills that need for me.

The song, the solo's, the lyrics, the singing...just everything is perfect in this song. It's good to know that one of my last wishes will be forfilled. They play this song at my funeral.

I was raised around nothing but country and blue grass. I hated music the early part of my life. Then I stumbled upon this particular song, a suggestion from a friend. Blew my mind. So in the late 80's I was becoming a teenager and this music sculpted me into a new being. I am now 35 and drooling in anticipation of Black Roots of the Earth. This is still one of my favorite and most played tracks.
