I love the Ford Maverick, the Front wheel drive Hybrid would be perfect for me... 40 mpg would equal or better my Jetta.. now if I can only convince my wife!

Adding my two cents as a wife - I placed my order for the Mav on day one of Sept ‘22 and received mine is just under nine months. My absolute favorite vehicle ever so don’t be surprised if your wives decide that the Mavs are going to be theirs 😜

Hi Sam, Purchased this Tonneau for my 24 XLT Mav, based on your review. Its made a bit different now, but the basically the same idea. Here is the thing, I have a drop in plastic bed. Now, the current instructions suggest that you do not use the plastic bed rim, which comes down into the bed 2". Rather their instructions now suggest, to have the clamps go through the plastic drop in bed and have the clamps grab the metal beam under the drop in bed. Im wondering, if that is the case, as it would be more secure, how far down from top of the drop in bed, would you go to find that beam?

I was going to get the hard rollup cover from Ford for my 2023 EB AWD LUX that I ordered but, it is hard to justify paying the $1,200 after seeing this video. Hopefully, I will get my Maverick someday!

Is it designed to be operated with one of the folds open instead of two?

I've seen comment's on Amazon and here that it doesn't fit, one says that it's an inch to short. Do you find that to be true or did they do something wrong on installation?

Having to release the clamps on both sides at the back kind of looks like a pain, compared to some of the brands that you just pull a cord on one side.

Thanks for the video as always. I saw a recent video that had the Keko sports bar and what looked to be a tri fold tonneau cover. Is this the one shown in the 30000 mile review? How is the fit? Thx

Looks nice! Looks stronger than than other which is nice but not as compact when needing to be folded up. Good thing the 2023 wait will let me debate which one for awhile.

I just bought this from your link on Amazon and it was only $599.99. Hopefully it will be nicer than my Soft Roll Up I have on it now. Though I like the Soft Roll Up I don't like the way it flaps in the wind and causes it to lift up in the middle.

Hi, Just picked up this Tonneau for my 24 XLT. I have a plastic bed in mine like yours. Oedro, now suggests that clamps reach through the plastic and make contact with the side metal of the bed. They do not tell you where to cut in. Do you have an idea how far below the edge of the plastic bed to go, so you get the support and not mar the exterior? Thanks

We did not have to cut the plastic as the metal was flush with the bottom of the plastic and was not an issue.

Sam, where did you buy the beautiful side door panel stickers for your Maverick Hybrid? Also, where is the most inexpensive XL Hybrid to order from? Depends on the State you live in I would guess?

The graphics we made ourselves. The state does not matter when placing an order and getting your best price, it's more about the dealership you choose and the deal you negotiate.

I like this style tonneau that sits on top but hard miss with the clamps on both sides. I cannot find a cover made like this with quick release for the life of me! Hate the low pro ones and ones that cant be fully removed easily

@@TestDrivenTV There are. I just trust your opinion. The corners on yours are rounded perfectly and I’ve noticed that some of the similar ones seem squared and maybe extend over the edge a bit. Regardless, thanks for your response. Your videos are informative and great!

I bought this and ended up returning it since the rear of it doesn't seal. DO NOT buy this if you own a ford maverick, I contacted their rep and they said I could use weather striping on the plastic of the tailgate, unacceptable.
