Thank you 😊 Yes, sometimes too much choice can be a bad thing! Before I bought these I literally had one pigment for each colour of the rainbow, plus black, white and a few metallic and that was about it 🤣♠

Oh wow i didnt realize this video was so new. I have just recently looked at getting into messing around with epoxy and found the DecorRom mica. I wanted to buy some but didnt know what i looked like, now i do. Thanks Im also glad you did 1, 2, and 3 drop versions of the liquid tint. Any serious projects and ill probably buy some eyecandy mica but to learn with i bet DecorRom will do the job.

OMG..all the beautiful colors!!! I love making my resin things with clear colors but every now and again I'll use some of my pearly eyeshadows...I was in the beauty biz for 22 yrs...can't live without beautiful colors in my life lol..thank you for sharing!!!

I was looking forward to this video. I have the same mica powders in the 30 pack. I love them. Keep up the good work. Love the jokes. I sit here and laugh my head off and my son yells at me because I'm so loud. 🤣 Guess he's jealous because I'm enjoying myself. Thank you for such an awesome huge test. DecorRom sells stuff also at Amazon.de/pl, so might consider getting some of their pigments sooner or later - knowing that they work so well. Love the poor bubbles' noises. Thank you for brightening my day with those silly bits :)

love it. thanks for subtitles manually. can you try with reusable mould (from the market) instead of silicone mould, just once? And when you mix resin with powder (mica or glow), can you put timer next to it, coz for a beginner, I would like to know how much time to stir and then keep aside. it would be helpful. thanks for your project.

Powder in zip lock bags... guess a trip to ikea when I get these. All my powder pigments are stored in spice jars since the glow pigment incident of 2018. I have a very small work space but would love to make a reference board like you have.

@@resinAce Sometimes I think I enjoy seeing what all the possibilities are of a new art form over making something with it :) I'm going to try mixing a tiny bit of some acrylic paints , Color Change paints in with some of my test pieces too. I just got a 5 piece set of silicone ball molds for making resin pieces the other day. Might make the universe...or at least the solar system

Well I made my own color chart, but used UV resin instead of the longer two part resin to make them, and learned that for some of the colors the mica blocked the light from getting through and hardening the interiors. Some of them worked out fine, a few actually burst open within the 2 months since I made them, and oozed a bit. I will be replacing those with my 2 part resins to see what the colors turn out to be

I'm no expert at all. I'm intrigued by the amazing results you get by don't know much about the science behind it. I wondered whether the fact you make a bigger batch for the liquid pigments will skew the results due to the fact you dilute the 1st and 2nd drops in larger volumes of resin. However if this was a general palette checker rather than an accurate test then it's not really an issue. Just wondered. Thanks for the vids. 😉

out of curiosity, what do you do with the last few drops of resin in your cups? do you pour all the droplets into a spare mold to make some technicolor vomit colored thingy or is it too much of a hassle to even bother saving it so you just chuck it. sooooooo satisfying when everything came together at the end, all neatly organized and labeled on a clean white background. love your work!!
