I Literally chanted "Mel! Mel! Mel!" like it was Bill Nye the Science Guy time in 7th grade science class! Mel's more bouncy in this vid, compared to last year's vid! AKA, the last time I saw them (wibble eyes) Mel's so cool... They seem happier, more energetic, and that energy is contagious thru the screen! Heck, even if it's just an act for the camera, acting is a skill! note - watching this vid 2 hours after posting, and the Indigo notebooks are selling fast, website says 4 left, lol. There are also Gold and White versions, that do NOT have that statement on them! But, I gotta admit, the blue one is just SO cool lookin!

That notebook is awesome. I love deep shades of blue, and pages that don't bleed through pages. Also high contrast (white on black - dark mode) is my jam. I can't draw much at all but do want to doodle. Putting that on my list! Thanks!

I am surprised by these white gel ink pens as I don't think I've ever seen such consistent coverage with the brands I've come across so far. Will be looking them up asap. The Makinarium website is somewhat confusing as they seem to only show 3d renders of their head sculpts - yet this black/white/gold painted cast is a great showpiece for their workshop !

Mother's Polish is great stuff. I've used it on ... well, any material that I've wanted to polish. Even used it to polish scratches out of old CDs. It works great with rotary hand tools and larger cloth buffer wheels. It's a BIT messy on the buffer, but it's not too difficult to mitigate.

Fab, Mel! If you're up for working with a laser cutter-- you really should consider getting acquainted with a lathe. An old-fashioned hands-on lathe. It teaches how to figure out the "process.." What do you do in what order? Best of everything for this holiday stuff!

The flower petal stuff I bet would be sick with 3d printing through tulle or mesh for some more solid parts. That and maybe using a mould and some thin pvc to form it round rather than just deforming sheet. I love them and I gotta make something like that some time, I think the petal surface not having any depth is the only thing stopping it pass through into the magical, maybe the surface printing/designs on flat would take it there, i gotta keep tabs to see the results!
