Its the same mag lol. Pmags are the same just marked 300 blackout. U can use 223 556 mags for 300 blackout

​@@Chancho11161996they aren't the same. There is a rib that reinforces the mag that is located towards the front of it. That rib gets in the way of heavier 220gr 300blk rounds. 300blk specific mags relocate that rib

Mags are cheap. Just buy more lol. Not like polymer mags are timeless anyways. They will eventually fail, have potential defects, etc.. Get 5 more of these in the video if you want em and put em all in an MTM mag case that holds 15 30 round AR mags for storage ;). Or 16 if you want one in the gun for emergencies like a home invasion situation. I personally always have a 60 round drum or quad stack just in case of it being multiple intruders and you don't have time to get your chest rig on. Just some tips! Hope you enjoy your first AR! Hopefully you got at least a mid tier one that won't fail on you when you need it most. Get a low tier build for the range to practice. Just my 2 cents.

Bought ten mags? Cool now buy 40 more and a couple thousand rounds of ammo, put it in ammo cans in a cool dry place and youll be set Also get used to the mechanics of the rifle dry fire until its second nature like signing your name. Can do it without evening thinking about it

@@99cobra2881 I agree. Dry firing helps a ton, but so does the range and various types of drills even more. I'd personally break in the barrel and upper first, then focus on dry fire. Many uppers need a lot of rounds to fully be broken in such as the feed ramps (unless you got an expensive one with it all polished and ready to go out of the box), charging handle, making sure the BCG holds up, properly gassed and the right springs & buffers, etc.. After all those things take a shit, buy an expensive CHF and chrome lined barrel for longevity, top of the line BCG/s and break the barrel in then save it. I can't say this enough for OP.. CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN!!! Maintain your firearms and frequently make sure everything is functioning properly. Many rifle manufacturers have lifetime warranties, so keep replacing the barrels, BCGs, spring and buffer to keep practicing. I personally go with the JP silent capture spring assembly instead of springs and buffers as they make the spring action completely silent and also reduces recoil by a lot. I have them in all my rifles. I have like 10 bags of O-rings, extra springs and weights in case shit hits the fan. A bit expensive at first, but you save a lot of money in the long run and they're much, much better than any spring + buffer combo out there hands down. You get what you pay for.

@@99cobra2881 Also, the metal mag cases from MidwayUSA are great. Heavy, but very durable and much better at keeping moisture out that causes corrosion on your bullets. I personally bought 2 of the 5 mag can combo kits. Still trying to fill em all up since there's so much space lol. Of course I fill em up with various kinds of ammo in each mostly. Using the biggest ones for the ammo I'll likely be using the most in worst case scenarios. Especially these days.. The tension is extremely hot right now across the entire world. I'd rather be prepared with good shelter, lots of MREs and canned foods, and tons of ammo and a few various kinds of firearms, spare sparts, cleaning kits, gear, etc.. EDIT: Hopefully I never have to use these precautions, but it's good knowing that I have most of it acquired just in case to protect my family and loved ones.

These are not an improvement over the windowed mags. Reason: You still gotta look at the mad when your low as the rounds are all hidden under the receiver. If at that point you're looking at a marker on the spring to know the round count, then we're back to the windowed mag again aren't we? Checking the needle to see how much gas is left. I think it's just a novelty or preference for looks. That being said, I will probably get one or two or three..It is overpriced though period
