TESTED ON HUMANS: escape room | FULL GAME Walkthrough | Solutions explained.

TESTED ON HUMANS is the second escape room game from [mc2games]. Their previous game (palindrome syndrome) was a fun little puzzle game with nice graphics and some clever puzzles. TESTED ON HUMANS is a continuation of this series. Intruiging storyline; nice atmosphear and some interesting puzzle mechanics... I really liked it.
As usual I try to include the solutions to the puzzles so you know how I got to solve a certain problem. Enjoy!

Colored test tubes got me. After finding answer it gave me the x:15 for end shift which I didn’t even need lol

Lol. So I guessed that triangle in last chapter based on some simple logic assuming that colors would be different numbers 1 to 4. * four dots on left side must be equal to one dot on right side, as they share same corner colors (green+purple) * as highest value is 4, left side must be four 1s, and as one of them is yellow and all colors have different values, this means yellow=1 * so green+purple=6. * purple and green must be 2+4 or 4+2, as they're different so can't be 3+3 * so red is 3 as last remaining * purple cannot be a 4, as bottom would be too high (a least 4+?+3+4), so purple is 2 * so green is 4 Then I found this video confused by all the steps I accidentally skipped so many steps.

I spent ages looking for a sequence on the 'don't trust the guard' card (8:34). I still can't figure out how you got the numbers. There is no digital 4, 2, or 3 on the card so how do you get the rest of the code for the door? There is also 6 numbers on the card and 7 needed for the code. I'm baffled!!

The card just tells you what to do with the numbers (as an example) : The (digital) number seven is made of 4 lines. The number eight is made of 7 lines. The number six is made from 6 lines. The number nine is also made from 6 lines. A dash is just 1 line. After you have this information, you just have to convert the numbers on the keypad. So a seven is made of 4 lines, a four is made of 4 lines, a dash (minus) is one line, a two is made of five lines, a three is made of 5 lines, the equals sign is made of 2 lines, and the last three is also 5 lines. Why is the bottle puzzle in the lab yellow-green-red-blue? I understand that's correct, but I've watched several times now and don't know how you came to that conclusion

If you mean the puzzle at 26:00 : you have t find the pattern in the colors. But you have to check each bottle with the bottle in the next box in the same place . so top left bottle from box 1 with top left bottle in box 2 and top left in box 3..etc. so for the top left you get: Blue - ? - green - red - black - ? and from the bottom left bottles you get: Green - red - black - blue - ? - ? so now you know that after black comes blue... so the top left bottle of the solution will be blue. (because the previous bottle is black). you can do this for the rest as well. It sounds complicated but just try to look at each bottle in the same place in each box.

@@m1nds0up13 oops. :-) That one is a simple version of the game 'Mastermind'. so a black bottle indicates that a color of that row is already on the correct place and a white bottle indicates that it's the correct color but on the wrong place. The top row has 1 black and 3 white bottles...so we know all those colors are in the solution. The bottom row has only one black bottle... (so one correct color on the right place). This can only be the yellow one. (because that's the only color from the 4 colors in the top row). You can do this for the other rows as well. a bit of deduction. In the second row there is also only one color in the correct place. has to be red because that's also the only one from the 4 colors that we need. So we have yellow on 1 and red on 3. Now look at the 3rd row from the top. Green is on the 3 position. (but we know that red should be on 3 position). So green is the one that needs to change to 2. Blue is correct. so finally we get yellow - green- red - blue.

@@Bartattackplays thank you so much for this explanation. I got confused by the positioning of the bottles because I thought the black bottle was indicating that the green tube was in the correct position and the other 3 colors of that row were not.

How bout more explanation for example the puzzle in the room with the time in time out puzzle the puzzle that has to do with the vials being in the right spot you never explain how you got your answer you just sit there looking at it for awhile and then give the answer I don't want the answer just straight up given to me give me a clue or idea to work with first so I can try to solve it myself with just a little help

it's like a classic game of 'mastermind'. the black bottle next to the colored tubes indicate that a tube has a correct color and is on the correct position. a white bottle indicates that a tube is the correct color but on the wrong place. So the top row has 1 black bottele and 3 white bottles. So 4 correct colors, but only one on the correct place (we don't know which one is on the correct place)...and 3 on the wrond place. By going through each step you have to deduct the correct color combination. Second row from the top: only one black bottle (so 1 correct color on the correct place). As we know that the top four colors are correct... and red is the only color on the second row that is also present in the top row...we know that red is on the correct place. And so on.

How did you figure out knoxs red ball puzzle?

Do you mean the puzzle at 3:50 ? It's just eliminating possibilities. the numbers on top indicate how many balls in the vertical columns. the numbers on the right indicate the number of balls in the horizontal rows. for example: first ROW needs 5 balls horizontally...and we now that vertically in the columns the second, third and last column have 0 balls. so the 5 balls need to be in the first,fourth,fifth,sixth and seventh place. As we have now placed balls in the fifth and sixth column... we now that there won't be any other balls in those columns, because the number on top says that there is only 1 ball in each column.... and so on...
