I switched from a relatively heavy Cube eMTB (~25kg) to this beast and am loving every second! The bike is so nimble and the geometry is just awesome. I can only recommend everyone to just try it out once!

Was your Cube Full Suspension? Did it had the Bosch performance cx engine? I want to get the Heckler myself but everyone is crying about the engine having not enough power and the battery being to small etc.. I also have a cube with the third Bosch cx engine and I’m afraid it has less power than my old bike..

@@rolux4853 I did have a Stereo Hybrid 140 TM 2018 with the 75Nm Bosch CX, yes. Honestly, you won’t feel the 5Nm less that the Heckler has. And if you select the 2021 Heckler you will even have more torque with the newer Shimano motor. The bikes are a night and day difference, seriously! I would even take the Heckler if it had 60Nm - I just want something that supports me uphill…

Wish they would make a more affordable aluminum version. 9K out the door is just unattainable for most people.

Thanks again man for your awesome review .. as I told on your goodbye video you make me but my yeti SB 165... and now ... ... Just Changed my rocky mountain altitude for this new Santa Cruz S built... so much more like your real mountain bike ,this is the only really Poppy EMTB ... i’ll probably only slackin the front a bit by putting a 170mm air shaft up front .. Way over priced, typical santa cruz, even entry level is expensive with cheap componentry for the price. Battery is too small and the larger one will not fit, poor design.
