I love my VAP SS elites and they are as light as i can get and may be giving up some steering for the Sabre Mini vanes in 3 fletch. But its only for whitetails. 29.5” draw they are right around 465ish. But now im really torn between the HLR and 5.0. Id be right around 430ishh. With Josh’s titanium 50 grain and collar…only thing that worries me is using a Sevr 1.7 or 2.0 with that new setup because of the longer components out front. But i guess thats what titanium is for right lol with my weight now i know it would work. I have Handes Pro 3 blade and 2 Sevrs in the quiver now with VAP SS.

Plan to do a comparison video or pro/con video of the 5.0 vs parallel pro?
@EastonTechnicalProd7 күн бұрын
That would be a great video, both deserve to be in quivers. X10 parallel pro has unmatched percision built off the legacy X10 process. The 5.0 is built off of our seamless process called AcuCarbon. No stiff side, consistent spine around shaft as well as consistent from arrow to arrow. Weight is consistent year in and year out 🇺🇸💪
@kylerbowers1807 күн бұрын
@ making the decision hard for which arrow I want to run next year! Definitely between the parallel pros and 5.0 now, time to do some research!
@brycekearns2078 күн бұрын
Loved everything about the sonic this just that in a better diameter. Only one question are these enough to get you away from the x10s???!!!
@brycekearns2078 күн бұрын
So the brass hit does fit? Wasn't listed on the website glad to know
@EastonTechnicalProd7 күн бұрын
Each of these arrows serve their own purpose. If you want the tightest tolerances in a 4mm shaft, the X10 parallel pro dominates alongside our 4mm Axis Long Range. The new 5.0 is built with our AcuCabon process, its seamless meaning there’s not stiff side or need for alignment. Not to mention made in USA 🇺🇸

@Bigfootlives_7077 күн бұрын
Most 2 part epoxy is self leveling, so wouldn’t you want to stand your arrows up so the epoxy will settle evenly around the insert? Won’t laying it flat cause the epoxy to possibly settle to one side giving you an imbalance?
@marksmt8 күн бұрын
I’m curious how the arrows are affected by wind vs the 4mm. I would switch over if it’s a nominal change simply due to ease of component matching with the 5mm shafts.
@douglasvaughn95308 күн бұрын
It's such a small difference you would need to be one of the best target archers in the world to notice. You wouldn't notice any difference out to 70 or 80 yards, even at 100 yards it's very hard to see a difference between 4 and 5mm. The vanes and broadhead have a bigger influence on wind drift.
@EastonTechnicalProd7 күн бұрын
You’d have to be one of the top shooters in the world from our understanding to see a big difference. One might see a difference from a standard diameter shaft to a 4mm shaft.

i just have questions.. Happy they are bringing something that's up to the current level of whats out there but... a weave is still going to be a more durable arrow, right? Also the marketing blah blah you dont need to care about spine with these... ditch that. The arrow has a spine. Print it on the label. Its so important to us tinkerers. Like im trying to find a reason to shoot this over the HLR but im struggling to find it.

It is so funny how they tell you they have invented the wheel😂 bro Victory had the .204 3DHV (target) and the RIP XV (hunting) for YEARS!!! And its much lighter😂🤦🏻♂️ so i don’t get how anybody could be that much hyped by an old story like the 5.0. sorry, too heavy, too late, nothing new.

@earlofcockwood19885 күн бұрын
@EastonTechnicalProd i really want to try, but i shoot World Archery 3D (unknown distance double hunter) so i need an arrow thats is as light as possible. We have a 60 pound limit and unlimited speed out of that 60 pounds. Lightness and therefore speed is everything. The 400 3dhv is 5.9 gpi the Easton 5.0 in a 400 is 6.8. thats a nearly a grain difference. Is it more durable? Sure, is it more consistent sure, its an Easton but guys tell me the shaft i should use in a 400 spine to get the same speed out auf an Easton arrow at 60 pound than out of the 3dhv? Even the 23s from victory are much lighter. The vtac23 is the lightest 23 diameter shaft on the market. And again? In WA3d speed is everything. Tell me and i buy it. I will never shoot another arrow. I really want to give it a try. But Easton is heavy as fuak
