Testfahrt Maxim Gorky

Erste Testfahrt nach vielen Jahren. Das Modell ist fast vierzig Jahre alt und wurde einige Jahre nach dem Tode das Erbauers nicht mehr auf das Wasser gebracht.

A bit too much messing about for me. I keep my model boats at manageable sizes - usually around a metre long - as it keeps launching and transporting them at practical levels. The actual enjoyment of sailing doesn't increase with the size of the model, so, impressive as it is, it's not for me I'm afraid. It appears to be slightly top heavy, having a slight lean to port.......

Потому что этот турбоход купили в 1974г в Гамбурге. И имя было у турбохода *Гамбург*. Кстати и 5 *чёрных* как говорили тогда в ЧМП построены с 1965г начиная в г. Висмаре (ГДР) правда, головное *Иван Франко*. Любят немцы своё. Именно на этих двух лайнерах ЧМП они и отдахи в круизах часто, и фрахтовали долго, лет 30 около---давно ушедшая эпоха. Но мы помним. Слава экипажам пас-лайнеров ЧМП!

Just to let u know that I worked in 1972 on the original TS Hamburg from the Deutsche Atlantik Linie as a cabin steward so before the company went bankrupt and she was sold to the Russians. She was a beautiful elegant very modern ship for her days but unfortunately she is also scrapped Cheers Charles Australia

I think that scale model could be very dangerous for the boy inside. It could roll too much in the water and get upside down. The boy could be in peril. I don't think the boy would get less fun in a kayak or a dinghy.

Das Boot war vor Jahren in einer Doku auf Kabel1. Laut Erbauer Platz für 4 Erwachsene oder 7 Kinder. Er ist damit sogar auf der Ostsee gefahren. Habe die Doku noch irgendwo.
