Mike is the owner of a restoration company, so he understands the complexities of home remodeling and construction. He came into the remodel of his Huntington Beach kitchen with years of experience, and he says he was completely impressed with the level of professionalism of each and every member of the APlus team and the collaboration that brought he and his wife’s dream kitchen to fruition.
In the original kitchen design, there was outdated honey cabinetry and a jumbled feel to the layout, as well as a recessed ceiling over the island, which created a dropped ceiling around the rest of the kitchen, closing in the space. Another challenge faced in this Hunting Beach kitchen remodel was the shape of the kitchen itself, which wasn’t a square and required some creative planning to work without the removal of a wall.
The APlus team was able to overcome the layout and design challenges, and create a traditional kitchen design with off-white custom cabinets, and a warm, earth-toned granite countertop. The ceiling was raised, and an industrial-quality range hood was added under a custom-designed hood. Other details now found in this Huntington Beach home include a stainless farmhouse sink and a contrasting island in an espresso color.
All-in-all Mike said he was extremely pleased with the results of this Orange County remodel, and it was refreshing to work with the APlus team.
