The "steam roller" 19:36 is a Unditching roller - "Upon entering a ditch, the roller prevents the front of the vehicle digging in to the opposite face of the ditch, instead the roller acting as a wide wheel enabling the front to climb out of the ditch more easily"

I would really love to be able to lock car doors with a specific key. Like each car has its own kind of key you can find for it. Kind of realistic because lots of old cars had a separate key for the doors so not unrealistic. It would just be nice to be able to lock a car down on the fly and use them as more of a mobile base.

I think a pick up truck. It’s a happy medium vehicle. With the Off road of the ADA, inventory space of the Olga, and an ability to add 1-2Barrels and 2creates on the bed. Which would be 1/2 of the M3S. Doesn’t need to have the metal plates, log, or plank slots. Side note, be able to cover up vehicles with a tarp/tarps, or comonet/nets. To hide them easier.

A bike or amphibious vehicle would have been fun. SHERP ATV or Alvis Stalwart. But a Bandvagn 206 "Bv 206 Armored All Terrain Vehicle"... Which is fun to ride in a deep valley in deep snow... I know. But motorcycle... a sidecar.

What I'd like to see this year is... 1. Bicycle. (off-road and road version) 2. Motorcycle. 3. Ambulance, like in the scenario you mentioned (repairable and has medical supplies inside) fits the DayZ aesthetic and lore. 4. SUV that can fit 5 people inside.

A friend of mine who Ran the original Arma2 Dayz Mod server called "DIE Autobahn" On the server he had the cars with guns etc, some armor plated. It was a total blast spawning in, getting a car or truck that had a weapon in the inventory. He also had a DAYZ server open for awhile with added cars etc along the coast. This was about 2 years ago when the vehicles were trash. They have come along way and seems with these new additions. If there was a pvp style server with these extra cars in it it would be sick.

The roller on the front of the military vehicle has to help it get up high steep sections where the front bumper would hit before the front wheels touched the incline

There absolutley needs to be wheelbarrows, motorcycles, bicycles and craft able go carts bare minimum (Go cart: 4 sheet metal + blow torch = frame. Combine x5 metal pipe and use blowtorch to build cart. Add a jerry can for a gas tank and a battery + a small engine {maybe using a wrench you can remove a generator engine} use wrench to install then add 4 wheels and boom, would have no storage but would be a cool quick vehicle

19:43 the "steamroller" could be part of a mine sweeper feature, a heavy drum that sets off and takes the brunt of landmines before the rest of the armored vehicle gets touched EDIT correction it is an unditching roller which is a device fitted to the front of military vehicles, such as the M3 Scout Car and the M3 half-track, for the purpose of preventing the vehicle from getting stuck in an obstacle, such as a ditch. Upon entering a ditch, the roller prevents the front of the vehicle digging in to the opposite face of the ditch, instead the roller acting as a wide wheel enabling the front to climb out of the ditch more easily.

If you were to ever build a large outdoors farm beside your base, that motorcycle could be really handy for getting around. I've built one or two large farms in standalone and having a motorcycle would make it much easier for me to get around the area.

I reckon that some sort of lightly armoured military vehicle like a jeep or something would be cool. Maybe it could be rigged out like an SAS pinky or something. I’d love to see the ability to have mountable guns on certain vehicles (definitely not proper MGs tho, more like a basic bracing). Hell, I’d love to see bipods or monopods. Monopods improve recoil and control and improve stability when prone, and bipods could be significantly more stable when prone or against something.

The roller on the front of that vehicle is for clearing mines. The roller is meant to extend out in front of the vehicle. At least that's what it is meant for irl. The vehicle itself looks a lot like a German Officers vehicle from the WWs. I like all the vehicles but if their is to be a limited addition~ I would say the emergency vehicles (police n ambulance) and the bus. Thanks guys~ R/
