My family and I visited Abhazia twice as a vacation destination. The russian side of the border gad good security, many borderguards and so on while the Abhazian side had like one or several guys, I don't remember exactly, he checked our passports for a brief moment and that was it. Whats the best job at a checkpoint? I bet the watch tower is chill other than if you miss something youre in trouble. And the coffee and bathrooms are probably in the main office. Main office probably has AC but you’re probably stuck doing computer work all day. Guard has to deal with people but maybe gets to chill in between that. Security just has to stand around and be present mostly but they can’t just like sit or goof off
