Testing 30% vinegar and water mixture as a weed killer

I added 2 cups of epsom salt and 1/4 cup of dawn to 30% full strength vinegar no water dilution. Kept my 2 pets off till it was dry and the smell is so offensive to them they completely stayed away while it worked its wonders. 30 minutes after application weeds were fried or affected and I couldn't believe it. I also had help from the weather I applied it on a +90 degree day. I came from trying household vinegar which is only about 6% acidic strength which did nothing. However what didn't fry was the ivy but vinegar comes in acidic strengths up to 75% so I can't wait to try that on the ivy. Thanks for putting this up!

PS - 30% vinegar works better and faster than roundup and its safe for pets and you its just a little stinky sweet.

It is organic, but would have worked MUCH better if he didn't dilute it with water. Pet safe.

True. I got the instruction off the internet. Another recipe is to add epson salt and vinegar. Plus this is 30% vinegar which is much stronger then your household vinegar.

I guess as long they don’t try to drink it. I had dogs running around while I was spraying.
