Rachel slowly realizing that the purpose of toys was to occupy time and keep people entertained made me laugh so hard. Allllssoo, “a child’s work is play” because it helps their brains grow and develop and make connections. So depending on the toy/the way the child is using it, it doesn’t accomplish nothing. And, an adult playing is a great stress reliever, helps to center people and allows them to focus better.

Shut the front door! We NEED that video right now! I mean I will wait however long it takes Rachel and Emily (perhaps Abbie, if she wants to, that is) taking a whole video dedicated to a big dominos project! I am LIVING for this amazingly gay idea! Funsies! (Side note: Rachel encapsulates perfectly what we all felt we came off looking like as kids when riding on our bikes. That sent me! Lol

I’m only 16 and I totally had one of those glow worms when I was younger that I was obsessed with and it still sits on my bed when I make it. I’m just now realizing that was something from the 80s … guess my parents really wanted their childhoods to live on through the toys they gave me
@dafne21372 жыл бұрын
SAME, I’m fourteen and I used have one when I was younger and I was obsessed with it I slept with it every night. I don’t think my parents had it since they didn’t come to the United States until they were fourteen and didn’t have many toys growing up

80's toys rocked. Though we also found much fun in pegging 2 playing cards so that our bike wheel spokes would make a cool noise that was universally decreed to make them sound like motorbikes LOL
@howlrmonky88452 жыл бұрын
I did a similar thing but my brother and I would run over soft drink cans with our bikes and they will be stuck to the top of the wheel making an awesome motorbike noise as we rode our bikes.

Me 🙋♀️ I was a child in the 80’s! Glow worms were popular as a toy and a night light but from memory you had to squeeze the belly really hard to get it to light up, and it didn’t stay on unless you were squeezing. So I guess that distracted you enough from the scary boogy monster shadows to do it’s job. Also, similar to the new Care Bears and my little pony, the designs and faces are different. The originals were way cooler.
