The joy that little babies bring when they smile, it is amazing. Her little smile was incredibly cute and warmed my heart. Definitely needed that. Clicked on your video to try and take my mind off of things and of course I enjoy your posts. But i was having a pretty ruff day. And your little precious baby's smile made me feel a little happiness. I needed that badly.

Would have been great if he had secretly raised the mice babies and showed them at the end fully grown and released them in the wild (Probably to be eaten by something else but still !). Babies are babies and they are too cute no matter the species.

FYI Cody; Even if you have a brand new 100% charged battery sitting on the concrete floor it can ground out the battery. Try slipping a piece of wood or rubber under your battery to break contact with the floor and it will work just fine. Hope this helps in the future. God Bless you and yours. We love you guys. Sweat loaf looks adorable... what I did for the little ones was strap the car carrier baby seat to the canoe like a seat and set the baby inside... NOT STRAPPED IN. If the canoe upsets, the baby will float free. That way you have the sun shade in place and ready to go!

A trick we use on our farm to keep mice away is to place laundry dryer sheets in/around items. Half a box distributed within a stationary car will keep mice out all winter. Plus it leaves a fresh scent, way better than moth balls.

We've had good luck with storing things in Rubbermaid containers at the farm. Provided the containers were closed properly, anything we stored in there was safe. Anything stored in garbage bags or anything like that was always damaged.

I have so much stuff hanging from rope. It is a great way to save space as well. I initially tested this something like 20 years ago with a bag of frosted flakes. I really did not expect it to work; however a year went by and the bag had not been touched. Needless to say there is all kinds of stuff hanging from crossbeams in my barn now.

I've used those valves commercially, the push in and turn lock is to allow the raft to deflate without interference from the valve. When you insert the fill line it should push in the valve allowing to compressor to deflate the raft anyway, but if you don't have the air line plugged in it makes folding the raft much easier.

Get farm cats, 3+ female cats will wipe out any mouse issues you have. My family and I live in the country and we were dealing with the same issue you are. We found some kittens for free. Within a month of them reaching hunting age the decrease in damage will be prevalent. They are cheap and easy to maintain. For our cold Minnesota winters we took 2 large Styrofoam fish coolers and cut a hole in each one and placed a heated pad with a blanket over top of it inside the cooler. We stacked them on top of each other and built a wooden shell that sits over the coolers for aesthetic purposes. There have been days where it has been in the -20's and we go out to check on them and when we take them out of their shelter they begin to steam in the cold environment similar to when you exhale on a cold day. I hope you have found this helpful. Keep up the good work.

Decon & live traps work for our garage. I've had them chewing into the drywall in the garage & gnawing their way through to the bedroom wall on the other side. Last winter it was running through all my wall mounted cabinets in the garage & building nests in them. I'm done being nice, they have declared war & I'm doing everything I can to eradicate them!!! Good luck with your infestation!

Make sure you test out that vest for the baby. Some of those life vests with that head flap can actually make the baby roll and float facedown. You want to have more flotation on the upper chest and as little as possible on the back and lower torso.

out in the country just buy a used water tight cargo shipping container to store vulnerable things, can find em under 10k but you will probably want to pick it up in person, shipping costs might be unreasonable. if you don't bring a mouse (or a bug) in with you, there won't be a mouse in it. and they are massive, you could probably fit your tractor in one with lots of room to spare front and back depending on how big ya go. just drop it on a basic concrete foundation (two strips would be enough) and there ya go, animal proof storage. might have to renovate it's weatherproofing when ya get it, but compared to weatherproofing a barn (and in particular animal proofing) it is really easy. big old steel box with weather seals, should do the trick.

Hi there just wanted to offer a word of advice on patching your inflatable don't use the glue seaegale provides with the raft it's OK in an emergency situation for a temporary fix but will make a lot more work for a permanent fix. I have used stabond it a two part glue with great success it works on pvc , hypalon, neoprene pretty much anything , I have also heard Clifton works well and there no accelerator to mix with glue also I would stay away from hh-66 cement glue I had issues with this melting my patches.

Ok. Seriously. That is one cool canoe. I love how it's so ridged after just pumping it with air. As far as that keel, or whatever you call it goes, knowing you, you'll probably fashion something to keep that placeholder in place when you're not using the keel. Granted, the placeholder should have been done differently, and you shouldn't have to do anything, but if it matters to you, you'll figure something out. 😉

I am a subscriber as of recently so I just now viewed this episode. My thoughts are that when you first opened the first boat bag is that since it was a never opened factory packed bag, it was possibly a "from the factory" mouse. Of course a year ago and it would have not had water or food, so rethinking it, I see my folly.

I dont know anything about mice.. but in my head this idea works Haha... but put everything on shelves (like you have on the back wall of this video) and about a foot off the ground, on the uprights of the shelves, add a metal cone. Open side down, point side up. Like a dog cone from the vet Haha. I've seen people use similar setups on trees to keep squirrels out of their trees. Hope this comment isnt totally stupid, as I say, I dont know anything about mice.. if you told me they could jump 2 feet vertically... I wouldn't know if you were pulling my leg or not. Hahahaha

Sweet loaf looks so adorable! I am not sure if they sell them in the states I bought ours in the south of France. It was a little short sleeve and short leg “wetsuit” it’s not made of neoprene it’s made of like a spandex but the floatation devices are built into the suit on the body and the shoulders and it doesn’t restrict movement at all. Also its factor 50+ sun block so protected from the rays also. I will try to find it and post a link. But it’s a must!

That mouse was a bummer! If I may offer some friendly advice regarding the PFD for sweet loaf... I, personally, would try it out in a pool because the ones with that flap have a tendency to flip the child over, face down in the water. It’s meant to hold their head up, but a child who doesn’t weigh much has the opposite effect.
