I was going through a lot of stress. I'm 16 and a junior in highschool, dual enrollment for college (meaning I'm doing college and highschool at the same time), working and just had a very bad breakup with a girl I've been dating for 2 yrs. I have a plethora of stress. A friend recommended that I should listen to ASMR. I found this channel and it relieved me of all and if not most of that stress. Honestly thankyou. Yeah a lot of people do this but I came across you and I'm grateful I did.

I've experience ASMR many times in my life before I knew what ASMR was. I've only recently discovered that there is a name for this tingly feeling I get and I've been watching the usual ASMR videos that are on KZbin - ASMR massage, etc. I never thought that I'd enjoy watching somebody use a pen, but I have to say I feel so utterly relaxed watching and listening to you using you fountain pen. Your voice is extremely relaxing and I enjoy the way you structure your sentences. Thank you for this video :)

I’m getting so much nostalgia. I lived in Vietnam and spent 4 years there in elementary school and students were required to use fountain pens for all sorts of writing. I remember those days accidentally spilling the ink, getting stains all over my right hand, breaking my friend’s pen and owing them, etc.

my dad, uncle and I have an inside joke about the song Reelin In The Years. The line is "you've been telling me you're a genius since you were 17." My uncle was drawing and he made this character. He was of course 17 at the time and he busted through the doors in our kitchen in only his underpants, blaring the song! Obviously he thought he was a genius for creating "Mr Sheevo, The Cat God." It's one of my favorite memories of my uncle :-) and it's a hilarious ordeal when the song comes on in the car!

I tried this pen about a year ago, and did not get on well with it at all. The problem was either a defective ink feed, or the type of ink I used it with (can't recall which, but I think it was Waterman). It was just wrote very dryly. Your pen seems to write fine, though, leading me to believe mine was a dud. Not worth sending it back all the way to China though!

+Robert Bohenko I don't see how you could go wrong with a Lamy Al-star. It's aluminum body and big awesome pocket clip be perfect for someone like you, plus the pen look awesome in either shirt or pants pocket. Lot's of different colors too! Be sure to get the Z24 converter to go with it so that you can use bottled ink.
