Good job mate. Excellent use of of diagnosing and testing methods for a conclusive fix. Have had this issue on many occasions, both from filters that where never changed, but mostly from aftermarket rubbish with poor filtration. Folk just don’t realise croisland, Commline, TJ filters for this model are around £10-11. Bosch and blueprint £15-18. MANN, Mahle or UFi £22-25. Public needs to understand there is a reason for this. Keep up the good work

Really well explained. Had a Pico for some years now, only just starting using it in workshop to backup scan diags. Learning the pico 6 GUI.....now there's the version 7!

Makes me think that two channels cab be used simultaneously, apply a math function and read your pressure differential in real time. Also, really liked that sight block.

Great diagnosis. Unfortunately many garages even main dealers don't have this type of equipment or are willing to invest in it. I've given up asking for a scope from my employer even though the guided diagnosis I'm obliged to follow for warranty claims requires me to use one!

40k miles seems low for a totally restricted filter, maybe some dirty fuel. Why wouldn't the first shop just change the filter out in the first place. Great video!

I've recently had the same fault codes and the vehicle was cutting out under load. Cheap "non o.e" filter fitted only 1k prior. (then when watching further you've had the same ...lol) New genuine filter fixed. Great content as always Gary and well presented......

Not a wps as use hereC it has a maximum range of only 500bar. Check out my video about intermittent faults, I use a transducer on there connected to the fuel rail

@@RAVETOR not the fuel rail transducer, that’s used to confirm the plausibility of vehicles own fuel rail pressure sensor. Once that’s confirmed to be correct then just monitor that data pid on the scan tool while driving

​@@intelligentauto737 That's the problem I have, my car doesn't have a fuel rail pressure sensor, neither OBD2. I thought I could use the pressuretransducer with the picoscope to record som data with it, to confirm there's a problem with the fuel. My car is losing power intermittently while driving. Is it only a fuelpressure gauge I can use? Or are they any other tool I can use while doing a roadtest to find the problem if it's only intermittent and you don't see a problem while it's idling.

Personally I would change a fuel filter every 24k miles but most manufacturers are saying 40-50k, hence problems like this. This car if I remember had just over 50k on clock
