Good one. Only 2 things to mention: 1) in statistics we never accept hypothesis. We reject or failed to reject the hypothesis. 2) also for 2 tail test.. alpha is divide equally in tails means 2.5% either side

Man aapne diff between significance and confidnce levl video me kaha tha 0.01 value is +-1.645 sigma. But in this vdo 0.01 value +-2.58 sigma. Mam confusion hai please clear

Madam meri 100 student ke sample pr t-value 2.17 aa rahi hai. Jo 100 pr level of significance ke. 05 and. 01 level kisi value 1.98 and 2.63 ke beeche me lie kr rahi hai. To sir is condition me null hypothesis select hogi ya reject. Please bataye.

In this condition u can say that "Null hypothesis is rejected at 0.05 level of significance but accepted at 0.01 level of significance" Some researchers use only one statement like "null hypothesis is accepted at 0.01 level of significance." but according to my opinion u should use first statement. I hope this will be helpful to You.

What should be the criteria to set 5% level of significance or 1% level of significance of a test??

it depends on the researcher .... what level of clarity and confidence he/she wants in his/her research.... for fewer chances of error 1% level of significance is good.... means 99% confidence (normally used in the medical field) otherwise in behavioral sciences, 5% level of significance is sufficient. you can also watch this video for more kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z3m1YpaZjrtmsKs

In this case we say that the difference is Significant..means it is not just like that....this difference come due so some modification in indipendent variable or due to some solid reason ..... I hope this will clear ur doubt 👍

confidence level dekhne k liye har test ki apne kuch criteria and tables hoti hne unme se hi ham inki values ko compare karte hn jisme ki degree of freedom ka bhi roal hota h.... 5 % ke liye 1.96 and 1 %bk 2.58 value Z test and T test k liye h specially tab jab sample size large de rakha ho.... but small sample ke liye hame degree of freedom ke according table me se values dekh kar comparison karna padta h .
