I always keep my dual motor Model 3 in chill mode because I am extremely motion sensitive.

Yes same with my wife so I have to keep the acceleration in check :)

@@SwissTeslaFan I would get along really well with your wife, while you and my husband could go fast, with no one barfing 🤮!

How is the mileage with the cold temps here in CH??
@SwissTeslaFan3 жыл бұрын
I would say you lose about 10-20% range depending on how much you have to heat the car. Now that I can charge at home I preheat the car that really helps limit the range loss.

@@SwissTeslaFan How about when the car is parked outside during winter for an extended period of time? does the battery deteriorate?
@SwissTeslaFan3 жыл бұрын
The car is actually quite smart, it will detect that it is parked for an extended period of time and will start using less and less power. I noticed this because I saw that battery usage was less intensive as days go by. But it is really important to let it go into sleep mode if you are going to park it for a long time. Each time you check on it remotely it will get out of sleep mode and that's not a good idea.

Great video. Small question to Swiss Tesla owners, do someone have the Boombox option ? And do we have the external speaker at least ?
@SwissTeslaFan3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the kind words. At least for myself I don't have the Boombox, but I'm not even sure if it would be allowed in Switzerland anyway.
@plojo3 жыл бұрын
Internet says the external speaker is only missing in the MIC SR+ Not looking good for the boombox function, at least as seen in the US teslamag.de/news/aussen-lautspecher-teslas-europa-nicht-jeder-spass-erlaubt-32563 "If the Boombox function is used for pedestrian alerting (AVAS, short for Acoustic Vehicle Alerting), restrictions also apply. According to EU Regulation 540/2014, an electric car AVAS must not emit abstract sounds such as natural sounds, birdchirides or the like, but must be comparable to the sound of a classic ICE engine. In addition, an AVAS must make the driving behaviour recognizable, i.e. acceleration, for example." Snakejazz would have to play faster as you accelerate :D

I have the LR I will check one day and I will tell you if I see the speaker. Because in July in Europe all EV should have pedestrian warning system.

Thanks for sharing Pablo. Unfortunately this is another example of stupid regulation. Why does it have to sound like an ICE engine ? It just need to sound like something people with disabilities will recognize as out of place.
