I totally understand your feelings for that silver. I have an old NARS shadow called Kathmandu that is very similar, and when I say old, I mean over 20 years. Yes I am a disgusting goblin and no I will not throw it out.

The only nabla palette I’ve ever had was side by side and it was fine but I decluttered it.

Honestly I probably won't actually get rid of any, I might retire some if the shades aren't likely to be worn but they are all very special to me

Do a shadow box with the Man Rey pallet. That way you can actually admire it

You might not declutter any nars but you can make sure to get some use out of them. That man ray pallet is the only piece I couldn’t buy in the usa, and I hate that I am missing it from my collection 😂

I feel like there's an odd texture to Nabla mattes. I keep trying to use them but it never goes well, shimmers are pretty though

I often wonder if your “collection” is insured? Or would that fall under house insurance? I was so worried about it sitting in your car for so long way back when you were moving

It would fall under contents insurance but it would only be covered for theft, fire, flood, etc and I would guess they would cap it at like $500 if anything, it would likely have no value in the eyes of an insurance company

Better Society is just my favorite, but I never grab Nabla Side by Side. I just never do, and it hurts my feelings. Every time I go to declutter I can't.

The new makeup just gets more clean ingredients and the shelf life is less than a year on some palettes now, they are seasonal only. If a palette by NARS is talc-based, they will never make that again. You won't be that 90 year old wishing she had those old glitters all over her body, because you WILL have. 🎄🎄
