TESTING ALL THE NEW DRUGSTORE MAKEUP 2023! 😍 WHAT’S WORTH TRYING?

A few updates on the wear time of some of these products! -The elf primer allows my foundation to wear really nice throughout the day. I don’t experience any separating like I do with other smoothing primers. -The Milani powder keeps my skin matte for hours. It’s VERY mattifying so maybe not ideal if you have dry skin but nice if you have oily skin. -Not sold on the concealer but I’ll keep testing it out and keep you updated. It looks a little heavy on the skin and doesn’t last as long as other formulas. -The mascara look so nice on the lashes! If you have watery eyes or it’s super hot out, it might smudge on you. I personally haven’t had that experience but when I added a tiny bit of water to see if it was waterproof or at least smudge proof, it came off super easily. -The essence shadows creased by the end of the day and faded after a few hours.

I was curious about the concealer. I didn’t care for the foundation that Pacifica came out. I’m disappointed they discontinued the cherry matte lose powder. It was my favorite. I wish brands wouldn’t discontinue good products.

I always start with the cer VA daily moisturizer with sunscreen I can rub it in between my hands really good and just press it into my face over my makeup if I want to reapply and it doesn't mess up the makeup

I use powder puffs for EVERYTHING now. Blush, highlighter, setting power. It makes my powder products look flawless

I’m convinced to buy the elf primer 😆 My original elf putty primer is probably really old anyways lol and I definitely prefer squeezy tubes! And I didn’t know elf had a sunscreen spray 😲 I might give it a try~

As always love your videos! Ive been looking at that ELF primer and an grateful for your review. I’ve seen a few beauty KZbinrs doing a one and done eyeshadow video and their preferred looks in multiple categories (creme, pot, stick, glitter, etc). As a working mom it would be awesome if you did a video like that for everyday/work looks😊.

I’m really hoping to see the purple in that new elf shadow palette on someone’s eyes. I’m not a bright blue shadow person, and that’s the only demos I have seen on YT so far.

Waiting until I can get that primer at Ulta so I can use points. Emily Noel had the "old" Elf eye palettes. A few of the shades are different and the packaging was solid black. This may be a little cheaper packaging, but at least u can now see the shades. I hate sharpening anything, I just dont even buy it. 😅😅Thanks for the drugstore roundup. ❤❤❤❤

Hello! I have been excited for drugstore makeup so much lately. I have revisited some brands and found some great products that I didn't like before or never tried. I am loving elf right now. I love ColourPop as always and essence has some great stuff too! I want to try wetnwild again and I ordered some L'Oreal blushes recently. (Can't wait to try them) Oh and I love Milani too! Do you have any recommendations for dupes for the Too Faced Peach Perfect setting powder? I’m almost out of my last jar and that powder is my HG 😭 it never lets me down. I haven’t found anything else I love as much as that one

Ugh I feel like I still haven't found the perfect replacement! I hate that they discontinued it. Right now I'm a big fan of the Ami Cole Setting Powder. It's even more smoothing than Too Faced but a little bit thinner. I don't think it locks my makeup into place as well as Too Faced but it's a little softer and more natural while still giving the smooth look.

i’ve been considering getting those new essence products; the brow gel and liquid shadows. i definitely think i’ll pick up the brow gel after watching this. essence does have a brow pen but i don’t really love it. but maybe that’s just because i don’t enjoy/understand brow pens in general though 😅 much prefer a pencil.

I didn’t know if you had tried the Physicians Formula Butter Glow liquid bronzer. It is so good and just melts into the skin. It’s beautiful and the color is perfect

I'm so tempted to try the Nyx Thick It, Stick It bc of the huge difference it seems to make in thin, sparse brows. It's like magic. I'm curious what would happen bc I have pretty thick brows! They are a little sparse, though, so I'd use a brow pencil to "color them in". I feel like I need to do it, for Science. 🤓lol. I feel like it could be really cool and editorial, or really horrible! maybe I should have gotten something like that when I was werewolf Frida Kahlo for Halloween a while back! 🐺

I love the new covergirl mascara but it does smudge on me- however I recently saw a hack where you dust your lashes with translucent setting powder after doing your mascara and that worked really well for me!

I forgot to mention that RoseAndBen showed this thing with using the puffs with powder and she picks up some powder with the corner but then pats it off onto the back of her hand to get a lighter more even later if powder. Just watched another super recent vid with Robert Welsh and I think he did the same thing.

I find that everyone on KZbin hypes up Elf and don't get me wrong I like elf but everytime I buy there new products I'm left underwhelmed and it's ok product nothing to hype up. Just got the new whoa glow sunscreen primer it's just ok. I don't find it to be supergoop dupe. I'm just stick to my power grip and my own sunscreen I like.
