I actually tried this set today myself in exactly the way Tatyana did. And let me tell you, it's been the best set ever so far. I started with polygel last march and completely destroyed my nails - my hormones where out of wack so they'd just pop off, peeling layers of nails with all the time. I decided to let them rest for 6 months to grow out my nails and try put on a fresh set before my birthday. It took me 7 hours today to do everyting and i'm glad I am done haha but damn am I happy with my set. Thank you Tatyana!

Seven hours! I am impressed and a little jealous I’m not gonna lie…. It took me nine. They were barely passable. And bypassable, I mean, they looked good as long as my hands were in my pockets. I did have my BFF (soon to be EX-best friend) say to me “Oh! Are those the new Play-Doh stick on nails? Epic job!”. Of course, the true test of lasting nine hours is when you go to stand up and…… ya don’t. 🤦🏼‍♀️ But good on ya, girl .❤ you carry that nail flag and you carry it high…. For the rest of us.🤷🏼‍♀️ 😉👍🏻♥️

Yup! Ngl I almost cried the first time I tried dual forms, but it was a cheap kit from Amazon. I just ordered some Patty Gel and almond forms. I can feel the difference in the gel quality after just swatching it. Now I just need to find the time to do my nails with it.

I am going to have to check out the ones you used today! I have some and I wanting to use them but there’s no apex in them so I have to go over it anyways to build the apex so I feel like it’s pointless lol I really like the curve these have to them too! I’m sure this is an unpopular opinion but I low key despise the existence of dual form tips 😂 they’re a whole scam! You can do the same thing with your full cover dual forms, I promise. Just apply it to the tip and not the whole nail.

Try light elegance..I have a methacrylate allergy and have found I can work with this brand with no reaction.

Unfortunately once you developed an allergy you'll always have one. But products contain diffrent ingredients. Find out what was in the one you had a reaction to. Then just look for a diffrent one. But I can say that light elegance gel brand is hypoallergenic. You really just need to careful of skin contact. And make.sure to wash your hands after a service. The dust can also irritate your skin. Good luck

Look for ones that say 5-free or 7-free. I had to do this once I developed my allergy too. I use Beetles gel polish, wonderful quality.

Beetles Gel Polish is good for allergies. For acrylics look for a HEMA free. There are some good indie brands that do it. Good luck. 🖤

As a nail tech myself... I’ve only learned the Russian efile manicure technique you usually do. These dual forms looked like heaps of work and excessive filing compared to your usually work 🤷🏼‍♀️
