Love testing basics, so much useful information! Would love to see an autumnal inspiration video, a few different outfits that would be good for autumn, maybe mixing highstreet and luxury, or maybe just highstreet? :) maybe even a complete GRWM with makeup and all :) I feel like this is the best season to really show your style trough layering and different prints, lengths, cuts, still mixing some summer pieces and introducing new comfy ones for colder days mmmm *sips coffee*

Oh god Lizzy, I love your videos. I am so over youtube because most fashion videos target teenage girls, but your videos really talk about things that are important once you are a business woman and can afford quality instead of a quantity of cheap things. As for recommendations -- have you done a culottes one? Trenchcoats / cardigans / white blouses /winter dresses? Also, I would definitely watch a repeat for work-wear appropriate knitwear and coats!! :)

I love your Testing Basics series! I know you normally do these videos by testing different brands/prices, but I think it could be nice to do a series where each video is about a brand. For instance, I know you like jeans from &other stories, but maybe you could do a video comparing 5 different styles from them? (You could do this with Grlfrnd or Levi's, too, for instance). I say this because I know there are brands that you recommend, but sometimes I still don't know what style to go for! Anyway, just a thought.

As for the sizing, most websites use manufacturers sizing, where as UK shops will have adjusted/converted sizing.

So, do you feel like the sole at the back should be longer than the heel or not? I noticed with most of these, your heel seems to hang over the end of the shoe slightly, where I always thought your foot should be within the shoe. It must be a matter of preference. Also, would you ever wear leather trousers? I have several, and I consider them a basic. Perhaps they would be good for testing too? The price range and quality varies termendously in my experience.

I call these "shuffle shoes". They are not meant for walking more than one block, I don't think. Yet, I adore this style of shoe, and have 4 pairs of them. My fav are the Gucci black ones with the fur lining. Divine! One pair of mine is so wide, I need to tense up my foot and toes just to keep them on! I adore those Massimo Dutti ones, they look like Versailles style from the 1700's. Save those for a fancy skirt, at a dinner party! Those are so beautiful! The idea of this series is to compare similar items that could conceivably be worn as basics to lots of different people, not necessarily everyone everywhere. Like, testing wool coats doesn't pertain to me since I live in California, but would be relevant to people in colder climates.
