I think you're talking about Anton Fischer and 'team acne' channel. The sad part is, these phoney/scam products STEAL photos and videos of these influencers, who worked hard for years to fight acne. At least in Anton's case, he never agreed to be in advertisments of their products and even consulted lawyers to take them down (imagine your face being in a scam ad with 91 million views on facebook), but it's not possible to get them to stop doing that. Probably some influencers have done the chia seeds trick for sponsorships, and i'm glad that they spoke about it. (If that's what you mean)

as a marketing major this makes me very sad. there is absolutely nothing wrong with expecting a product to do what it shows in the ad it's gonna do, cause that's what ads are for. but the industry has taken it way too far in the last few years with social media and stuff because they know their audience has changed and it's not anymore mainly able-minded adults with some critical thinking but kids and young people that are easily influenced. I hope we can start doing better than this

These are obviously ads from china or scam companies just trying to get you to buy stuff. Half the time, you don’t even get the product. After they get your money, they deactivate their page. You wouldn’t see a normal, well known brand doing this.

I disagree… young people and kids grew up/are growing up in the digital age where we are exposed to filters, photoshop, and ai so it’s sooo easy for me to tell when ads are fake. Turmeric is actually amazing for fading dark spots and hyperpigmentation but it takes time and multiple applications. I’m not sure how it works in oil form though most people use the powder.
@rachelann9362
@rachelann9362 6 ай бұрын
I looked up some peer reviewed scientific studies on turmeric a oil. It does look like it retains a lot of the same compounds as the powder itself, and has some good response as an antii-inflammatory (at least comparable to aspirin and diclofenac.) it also retained anti microbial (bacterial and fungal.) the main issue noted was potential receptor competition with EPA\EHA with fish oil when taken internally, but I suspect that maybe just be how its components work for its anti-inflammatory properties. Couldn’t find much on sundamage with the exception of one where they used the essential oil diluted with ethanol (1, 5, and 10% dilution) on hairless rats with UVB damaged skin. Tissue samples showed improvements under pathology examination, and the study concluded it could be used in skincare formulas as a functional additive. I found another one that noted it can improve lesions in chronic plaque psoriasis when using a 1% gel preparation. I don’t know how it compares to products that say they do the same thing, but I think there’s enough science behind it to say… yah, a properly made extraction may serve functional purposes for treatment. I have a dog with skin issues that I believe is either a form of eczema or psoriasis. Fish oil is helping, but just not quite enough. If it smells better than fish oil, I’d be tempted to try applying a gel preparation in between her medicated baths to her worst affected areas, when I can distract her for long enough for it to be absorbed into the skin.

@sirtsupirtsu
@sirtsupirtsu 11 ай бұрын
@@Ayzlxn Yes, you can definitely use them up. Check the ingredient list of your products. I am not sure which version of this stick your dad bought. But if it has kaolin clay in it, it is just a overpriced fancy clay mask. Green tea is also benefitial ingredient for the skin - anti inflammatory (good for acne), soothing, may reduce sebum production. For oily skin clay masks help to temporarily to mattify the skin and absorb up the oil. The clay does not go deep into the pore neither does it pull out blackheads - but it will soak up some oils from very top of pores. You must definitely use a moisturizer afterwards though - otherwise your skin is dry and tight and will start to overproduce oil to compensate the sudden dryness. So definitely moisturize afterwards. And when you wash it off - do not scrape your face with dry towel like in video :D First soak it with water, so it breaks up and softens and then wash it off gently with water.

The tags/mole remover looks like a tooth whitening product with the packaging. For the Turmeric oil and their reviews, I bought off a website years ago (was recommended it). I received the 3 products I ordered (a body soap bar, a shampoo bar, and a body butter). The next day after using the products, I was broken out in a pretty severe rash and hives all over my body. I have never had this reaction to anything before. I figured out it was the body butter since it was the only thing I didn't wash off and I'm guessing it was babassu oil in it since I had never used that before or heard of it. I tried a little bit on another part of my body as a skin test and that specific part did break out ever worse. When I posted a review on Facebook and their website, both were removed pretty quickly. The company contacted me via email (which I still have) and told me I could buy another one of their body butters to test out that didn't contain either the ingredients they said I was probably having a reaction to (shea butter which I'm not allergic to and sunflower oil which I'm not allergic to). They didn't really do much else so I didn't take them up on the offer of buying another product and wasting my money with this company. Their website only has 4 and 5 star reviews (I'm guessing they remove anything less than 4 stars which is super shady; I tried posting my review again not that long ago and it did appear posted for a couple of minutes and then it was removed).

Kaolin was one of the top ingredients in that face mask. It’s a clay which absorbs oil. That’s likely why it felt so drying. You need to remove it with water, either in the shower or by using a wet cloth / paper towel. If you have dry or reactive skin, I wouldn’t recommend using it, or at least not very often. Hope that helps! ☺️

Even specialty companies don't often go below a 30 band, and when they do it's rarely below a C cup. Thankfully haven't worn a bra in years now so it's not an issue. The only difference is, I could get away with a bralette (or nothing at all) most days, people with larger boobs generally can't.

Mia, note that pepper's size calculator gives you a wrong size. There's no way you're a 32 band - I'm a 32 band and I am wider than you by several sizes based on your other size choices in other try ons. Pepper use the +4 inch method, which fits you the wrong size (I would be a 36A according to that method, when I'm actually a 32DD) so I highly highly recommend the "a bra that fits" calculator!! also it'll be a really great video, to try it and then get your suggested size :) If a 32b fits you, I would assume you're probably a 28D. My soul literally hurt during that part of the video. I wear a UK size 30E/F depending on the brand, but pepper would size me at a 34B which would basically just float around me like a boob skirt lol. Like you probably wouldn’t guess i was a B cup by looking at me, but my boobs also aren’t enormous like my cup size makes it sound, i just have a petite frame like Mia. I also agree it would be a fun video idea for her to get some different style bras from specialty brands in her actual size and compare them to her +4 size from brands like pepper or victoria secret :)

I am probably as old as Mia's mom. Back as a youngster in Canada I remember a card was delivered in the mail with a sample of a new cleaner. it came complete with a card with 2 dirt spots. it clearly labeled to use the sample cleaner on one spot and use your own cleaner on the second spot to see how the cleaner compared to your own. My mother always let me use the junk mail for crafts and what not. I clearly remember grabbing tissue and rubbing the first spot with the sample omg it came off with one swipe. I decided to try the second patch with the same sample. it made a smeared mess not cleaning anything. It was my first eye opening example that advertising people will fib to get you to purchase products.

Not from Pinterest but on the topic of fading freckles, I used to use a glycolic acid daily (before I started retinol, it was rated for daily use but with retinol was too frequent) and I put my products in my hands and pat into my face instead of using a wipe or pad. It eventually ended up fading a real dark brown freckle on my finger tip I've had since I was born. You'd really have to look now to see like the ghost of a freckle. Also my freckles are like 1 or 2 random dark ones in spots like on my elbow, finger, foot rather than a scattering of face freckles
