TY TY TY SOOOO VERY MUCH!!! I recently am attempting to engrave on the super thin cricut brand leather to make custom leather bounded flasks as groomsman proposal gifts for our upcoming wedding. I used the engraving tip and was honestly disappointed with the out come of the engraving on the leather. I figured there must have been something wrong because you could feel the engraving but not necessarily see it. Ty or sharing the tip about layering multiple duplicate images one on top of the other. I can not wait to go home and retry the project!! You have restored my faith in the cricut makers leather engraving abilities!!

Just a tip, if your layering, set all your layer wit a couple of registration dots so when you start laying everything down you line the marks and everything will line up perfectly.

Yes! I had bracelets to engrave, lol but we had to make time for the "secret" project! :) we also looked for a spatula, but as expected, they were hard to find in the middle of winter! :)

I've done spatulas but they decor only once you Pierce the stainless steel it will rust.

I find that when engraving metal I go over it at least twice sometimes three time for a deeper engraving

I saw on another video that on leather instead of removing the mat just load it again or increase pressure for leather if it didn't cut deep enough.

That leather has already been dyed so it's not tooling leather..

Hey guys, that's not tooling leather. Tooling/veg tan leather is firmer and does better on the Cricut than some softer leathers

You Guys!! How totally Rad!!! Love these!! I don’t have a maker, just an air 2... but it would be worth upgrading just for the engraving! And the baby Yoda... WHATT?!? I love him, he was awesome! You guys should check out conde.com. They have so many cool things on there that can be sublimated onto. I heard of them thru Crystal Ann’s channel. You guys would love all the things on there. The Cricut engraving tool only works in the Maker, but there are other engraving tools out there that will work with the Air 2.
