Beautiful! I just got the new 28 colors, and they are beautiful too. Your coloring and painting is more like a very talented artist. Some of us like to play around. I have this coloring book too. I love the flowers! Thank you for the work you do for us! Kathy

I love Inktense Pencils. I use a fine pointed waterbrush for most applications. You can draw direct, lift from the pencil, make a swatch on paper or textured surface and lift from that, dissolve scrapings to make a larger wash, and splatter direct from pencil, you can build up layers without disturbing the underneath ones. A useful technique is to consolidate and ensure it's totally activated by gently going over your layer with a damp brush.

Received my hardcover book today..amazing book for just $12.92 thru Amazon U.S. i started first using Faber Castell Albrecht Durer Watercolor Pencils to see how they would work and its fantastic! Use just light water and it doesnt bleed thru or buckle the paper. Most of the pictures have such tight detail you wont need much water. I plan to use Inktense pencils next. I highly recommend this book! This is such a classy quality book for all your pencils. Oh and the paper is an off white which makes it so pleasant, has a kind of antique paper look to it.

That's exactly what i was doing, using Derwent inktense in my Colouring Heaven series book. Of course had to watch you do the same!!! The trick with the water is to dab constantly on paper towel, just to say it's damp and my paper doesn't buckle. I LOVE your work. Gorgeous!!!!!

Gorgeous! I have her other book, and unfortunately the paper did not stand up well at all to wet media - it immediately started scuffing and pilling the paper surface. Now I have an excuse to buy another book! :)

Is this a Derwent water brush? Definitely not Carandache, which loved so much.
