I used to work at a jewelry store & we had a very large ultrasonic machine in the back for cleaning. Using a very small amount of Dawn dish soap in there will be far more effective than water. Or you can just make your own cleaner using warm water, a few drops of dish soap, & a few drops of isopropyl alcohol or hydrogen peroxide. Soak your jewelry for a few minutes & then gently scrub using either an old toothbrush or a baby one. Just be sure you don’t use hot water, especially on pearls or gemstones. Taking your jewelry off before you shower, swim, do dishes is ideal as a lot can build up on your jewelry, particularly if you’re wearing them in the shower. I had jewelry dishes in every room next to the sink when I used to wear jewelry so that I had a place to safely place them so they didn’t go down the drain accidentally. You especially want to do this with wedding or engagement rings. The nastiness that I saw come off people’s diamond engagement rings because they wore them in the shower was pretty eye opening.

The TABA Squishies are meant to stay inside of their bags. Jackie over at NerdECrafter recently did a whole video on them. From my understanding, and personal deductions, the pizza conveyer belt is for transferring the uncooked, formed dough onto to the stone/pan to avoid any tearing or ripping of the dough.

@@moranthang9482 Would actually depend in the stone. Diamonds will be okay, but softer ones in the mohs scale like pearls and opals definitely will get banged up in there. But if you mean it could damage the way the stone is set, that's also true. It may cause them to fall out. There's usually a disclaimer with the packaging.

Jeweler here, we use ultrasonics all the time. We used a concentrated blue ultrasonic cleaner (not sure of the brand) and dilute with water. Just be careful of leaving your jewelry in for too long and most precious gemstones cannot go into the liquid! Make sure to google if it’s safe to put in cleanser before you do. If you have enamel and a rhodium plating (white, yellow, and rose) it can remove it. Water does a good job of removing loose dirt; we use a high pressure steamer to clean pieces.

I haven't worn my rings in many, many years, but I used to brush my rings (garnet, diamond, sapphire, peridot, ruby, gold, silver) with a soft toothbrush and toothpaste. They came out really nice, but I never researched whether toothpaste was okay to use. As a professional, what do you think?

Toothpaste is pretty gentle so it should be okay! It doesn’t hurt it at least and if it came out with a noticeable difference I would say keep it up.

There seems to be this trend with cheaply made goods, especially on Amazon/Temu/etc., where they DO list the measurements....way down in the listing. Up top, they've got visually deceptive photographs that look WAY bigger than the item actually is. Like a dog toy that is bigger than a golden retriever's head in the photos, but is only 4" long when it arrives. Unless that's a special teacup golden retriever, they photoshopped that thing with the intent to deceive. (We know, collectively, about how big a dog's head is, so when we see a thing in relation to it, the measurements are secondary to our visual processing.) The "it's so much smaller" thing is completely reasonable since the product photos are intentionally/fraudently portrayed.

I worked at an opthalmology office, and we used those to clean people's grimy glasses. We only used distilled water though, and that worked like a charm. Only needed to wipe them off a bit afterwards and it made such a difference.

The Bluetooth speaker that's a turntable is actually really cool, I would love to own that too. The in game scent is actually interesting. Adds more interesting feeling as you play the game. Someone probably already said this but the first one is used for pizza dough. You make the pizza, decorate it (or whatever), and when you move it to go into the pizza oven, you use that tool. It works great (my family uses it) and without it you either tear up the pizza, mess up the toppings, or just take forever to do a mediocre job getting it from point A to point B.
