Testing First Waves at New WavePool Technology

Waves are rolling out in the world's first Endless Surf Lagoon! Blair Conklin and Leon Glatzer take turns riding experimental waves at a new pool in Munich, Germany. The Pool is named o2 SURFTOWN MUC, and is only a five to ten minute drive from the MUC international airport. The Opening of this pool to the public will be happening on August 10th and 11th of 2024! THIS is what wave pools are supposed to be about. So epic, full control. Creating dynamic sections and being able to tweak them to make them easier to ride and fun or harder to ride and huge challenging booters. Also helps that the facility they are building is beautiful. Making an actual playground/playplace/skatepark out of waves. That's the dream.

@@kurtclark8560it's usually gonna be 60 people in the pool. That is unless you're paying extra for the point break mode you're seeing here in this video. Not sure how many people then. Probably 30.

This is oddly Satisfying to watch. I haven't Surfed since 2002 in San Diego (USMC Camp Pendleton) when I was like 195lbs. Watching you guys do it in this wave pool, I was Cheesin the entire time you guys were in the water. Can't wait to move back to the waves in 26'. Sub'd for more great vids!
