I’ve been building models most of my life but now have retired and am trying to catch up on the many new options for every phase. I grew up with a Paasche H airbrush and have recently purchased a Gaahleri air brush because of the testing on your channel. One thing I lack is a paint booth. I thoroughly enjoy your channel. The small orange bottle of thinner is used to make the paint scratch resistant. That's why it's small and expensive. Spray the paints directly on the plastic. No primer needed. That thinner creates a strong scratch resistant bond.

The shine silver was amazing, near chrome brilliance😮. The best of the bunch IMO. The star bright silver was definately a close second. Gaia never seems to miss on these colors. Awesome stuff my friend. Have a great weekend yall✌🏽

I don't know much about Gaia paints but I have only heard good things about their metallic colors. Sliver is a especially versatile color for detailing too

I do like the silver primer, but honestly I'm just kind of.... whelmed by Gaia paints overall. People absolutely gush about them, and I have some and while they're good, other lacquers that I have like Dspiae are much easier to get and are pretty similar in quality. I will say though, I do like Gaia's gloss clear quite a bit, it's got a much 'sharper' reflective finish than other clears I have so when I'm going for a really glossy finish, I'll definitely go for Gaia.

My grandson got me back in to model cars about 2 months ago! Its relaxing , I love it. I built a make shift spray boot out of a clear rubber maid container and a bathroom exhaust fan for painting the cars and parts. But anyway, Thank you for ALL your great videos they are extremely helpful.

THIS site is so cool, hope to learn more of modeling. Modeling off and on since 1970. Military service slowed me down, but did some work anyway. Now having retired making major time for it. I just got into Gundam and model building last month, and I've been obsessively consuming as many videos and tutorials as I can, and you're one of the channels I look to for paints and tool reviews and it's been immensely helpful. I really want to get into airbrushing and painting, but getting everything I need has been slow as a broke college student, so hoping for a chance at the waterfall spray booth! Also. since we're on the topic of Gaia paints, would you be able to do a video on all their surfacers? With 14 different surfacing colors between their Evo and Nazca lineup it would be really informative to see what the differences are and what colors would go best with them. I just started my airbrushing experience because of your channel. Let me say I am really enjoying it and it was your channel that took all the mystery out of the airbrushing. I am learning something new every time I use my airbrush. I purchased your swallow tail airbrush and am really enjoying it. My son is into RC cars and asked me to paint his polycarbonate truck body.
