I was ecstatic when I saw that HARPAD 12-string converter. I wanted one right then and there, but then I heard how expensive it was. almost $400 for that? I’ll just buy an actual 12-string guitar for that price... might be useful if you want to transform your J-45 into a 12-string or something but for lower-budget players such as myself, that’s not worth it. I mean, why even is it so expensive? It’s a big piece of plastic with strings on it, why would it cost that much?

It's probably not mass-produced, and it has to be really strong to withstand strings at tension, especially when it's so thin and oddly shapped - string tension could easily snap something like that in half.

That submarine pickup, if it was made well, would be a good idea on your low strings through an octave and then into a separate bass amp. I knew a local 2 piece band where the guitarist did that to good effect only he didn't have the extra pickup to selectively choose the bass strings.

On the GuitarJo subject...I have heard Guitar George is George Young, Angus and Malcolms big brother. When I was young for some reason I thought it was reference to Beatles Harrison I didn't get...because his guitar weeps,so gently.

You need to use the capo on your 12 strings while diving the submarine for delay and drive on that new banjo for a 4x1 combo!!!!

Ooh, maybe add a super short delay to go with the lower octave when using the Submarine pickup to make it sound more like someone's doubling on bass. That could be really cool

I found a bango vst yesterday, it say's it doesn't work well with some pick ups but seemed fine with those on a strat and a humbucker too. It pretty much sounds like one, my guess is they route your DI through a snare drum ir and there you go, a snitar/pango, :)
