Fantastic demonstration. I'm getting an older Litton K back in working condition and this helps a lot! Would love to see the continuation vid on straightening with a slightly crooked tailstock

I bought an old woodland, its 10ft long and 16in chucks. Im in over my head for sure but im trying to restore it and get everything fixed. Its not out of true i think but its got like a hump in the turn. I dunno im trying to figure it out and i have gotten a ton straightened out with it but i have some to go. For instance, the teeth on the chuck like the tooth is labeled one, the chuck face is labeled 3 but the slot it goes in is labeled 1.

Why. Just because you want to warp you brain with the two ends spinning off center. Or do you think many people put their chucks back together wrong.
