i'd recommend getting an electric file for your non dominant hand, it means you can go a bit lumpier on the acrylic or gel and then file it smooth afterwards without the hand ache 😊

That's why I like polygel; you can take as long as you want to get it perfect. I take about a minute to sculpt the nails on my left hand, and then like 5+ minutes for each one on my right hand 😛

I'm a perfectionist so I don't know if this will be the same for you but I just kinda, I use polygel, fiddle with it until it looks good enough and then I go back over with a file it just takes practice and time

If you find a polygel brand you REALLY love just buy it in clear and get the lose glitter you like and mix what you want 🙂🙂 Happy New Year

Trust me, without tips, polygel is a much worse PITA. It takes me like 5-7 hours to create a NICE, creative set. I despise dual forms :p

Really love your approach first person I’ve seen put the poly gel on fake nails instead of using the nail stencils they come with to pack the product in and press onto your natural nail!

I think it takes longer to cure because it has glitter in it, it probably requires a longer time on the lamp. These nails turned out beautifully, I loved the iridescence and the bling!!

Have you ever tried using cuticle oil when you do your nail clean up? I have really good success in removing dead skin and all that when they’re hydrated and I’ve found my nails do better for it; I change mine weekly; I also try to make it a thing to put some on every day as part of my routine and lotion lotion lotion all the time lol. Some say the cuticle oil is too slippery for that, but when you do your nails all the time you kinda know what you’re doing at that point, you know? I work health care so my hands can get dry pretty easy washing all the time, and hand sanitizer. It makes a huge difference for me

Have you tried using a peel off base gel for sets you don't intend to keep on?..they work great and you don't need to file them off. I have tried a few off Ali express and they are awesome and cheep. My glitter polygel came in yesterday....can't wait to use it 💛

I have wanted to do my own nails for the longest time and I have bought a lot of the products you have been using over the last year but it was only tonight when I found your channel that I found out how to use them. I was wondering if you could please try the cats eye magnetic set. I have all the magnets but I don’t know what I’m doing. I know there is special nail polishes to use and also I’m not sure which is the best base coat and the best top coat to use, it’s all just too confusing to me. I saw these on Aliexpress from a seller called Saviland the gold and silver is my favourites, they have 10 colours I bought all of them they are only 15gr tubes so you won’t get many sets from a tube I’d guess approximately 4-5 sets of nails from each of these 15gr tubes, hopefully one day they will sell 60gr tubes like Yinikiz do, I have to admit they are very beautiful gels though, they are fairly new so I’m glad you posted this video, nail techs will love them, the glitter really pops when you topcoat them too💅🏽💅🏽💅🏽🥰great video dear, awesome length, great shaped nails a job well done👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾🥰🥰🥰💅🏽💅🏽💅🏽

I've seen this on AliExpress. It's actually Saviland brand. Maybe some other time do a lil it of gel on top and under the nails do a translucent color.

I can never get the polygel forms to stick on my fingernails even after buffing and adding the proper before steps. So I'm going to switch over to the tips and then use polygel to see if that helps anything

Are you making sure to use base coat? Might seem dumb to ask but I would forget to put it on sometimes and they would not stick at all.

You mean you have issues with lifting? I had issues with lifting when I used dual forms because they weren't a shape that worked well for my nails. It's a super common problem. I found some dual forms by Modelones that are more flat, and I don't have any lifting now. Also, using regular nail forms and tips helps as well.
